  1. congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Yeah, that is possible. I have a problem with drying when using most lotions. It is odd, but now I use jojoba oil for a moisturizer. That is the only thing that does not irritate my skin somehow. I hope you find a product that works for you! Sephora will give you samples of EVERYTHING in their stores, so you can take it home and try it and see if you have...
  3. Really? I was unaware of any herbs in their products.
  4. You might want to find out if it is pernicious anemia or not. If so, you will need B12 for life. I have pernicious anemia. I used to give myself weekly shots. I stopped doing that b/c I developed bad bruises and scar tissue. I started using the sublingual tab (from GNC). If you do not have pernicious anemia, then you can use over the counter Iron or...
  5. Me too. And I wouldn't eat gluten again for anything. I tried, for more blood work for a different doc, and made it three days before I was vomiting in the bathroom for hours after eating. Nope. Not for anything.
  6. I take GNC prenatals. They are gluten free, soy free, dairy free, lots of other stuff free too.
  7. Yeah, I do now. Not because of gluten, but because I have become disgusted with MLM and Direct Selling companies like MK and A.rbonne. See how the above poster has listed the A.rbonne list in THREE MK topics instead of starting an Lame Advertisement thread? It is ruthless. Whatever. I am buying from the stores these days! (NOTE:A.rbonne post was removed...
  8. I researched the MK Gluten issue, and the letter I got from them suggested I avoid MOST of their products because they couldn't be sure about the source of the ingredient. So, I narrowed it down to 5 products that I wouldn't use based on gluten. But, for you to have all of the information, here is the list they sent me. (I put the ingredient that they felt...
  9. Everyone else has great idea, I just wanted to add that I get stuff from Sams that I can keep in my purse, so I buy in bulk. I get the planters peanuts packs, about the size of an airplane pack, and I keep it in my purse, and a couple in the gym bag, but punches of protien and fat. I love sams.
  10. I have never taken those, but if you are looking for gluten free vitamins, GNC has gluten free, soy free, sugar free, etc. That is what I take....
  11. I was taught that generics were chemicaly identical to the brand name drug they replace, no? The binders may be different, but it is very easy to get that information, either from the drug insert, or from the manufacturer. I know people assume that only the pharmacist can contace the drug company, but that is simply not true. I call all of mine myself, even...
  12. I get mine done at the salon. I only get it done every couple of months, to cut down on the cost. I don't worry about wheat in it, because it does not get in my mouth, or on my hands.
  13. I am so sorry that you are frusterated! I do know how you feel though! I eliminated everything they told me to (well, all of the red and orange foods, but not the yellows, just watched out for those), for a month, and then started re-introducing them. That is actually how I found out about my Celiac Disease, because when I added wheat back in, my intestines...
  14. I lost 8 pounds in the first week of being gluten-free! It was all water weight, and it was so much that people noticed and said "your face looks thinner"!! I have noticed that for me, when I have gluten, I get bloated, and can gain 5 pounds of water over night!!! So, yes, I think your reaction is normal, whatever normal is....
  15. I had to take it before I went gluten-free. I don't have GERD anymore. But I don't remember having any weird side effects. I was on so many meds then, who knows what was related to what, you know? (And what I mean by that is that my depression med could have exasterbated my GERD, causing me to need the Reglan....)
  16. Hey guys, I have been searching and searching and I just can not find the Card Board/Pressboard type stuff that you find on the back of hard bound journals, or the raw materials for Hardback Book covers. Does anyone know about this stuff? I don't even know what it is called, so I am having trouble looking for it online. Any help would be appreciated...
  17. Hi Emily, I am so sorry that you are still feeling so bad. Do you think that maybe, just maybe, you are getting glutened somehow, somewhere in there? Hidden, sneaky, bad bad gluten in there? That is what it sounds like to me. I hope someone else has better information for you, and I hope you are feeling better soon.....

Yeah, what she said I really like the Sydneys Sinful Sunday! The crunch of the coconut is really yummy. I haven't tried the cinnamon apple one, like you said, you have to take off a whole bunch of stuff, seems like a waste.

Gotcha. Maybe you could pass along the info? I hate to think someone is dissing Outback. They are my favorite place to go because of the wonderful gluten-free selections, including 3 desserts!!!
  20. Not at all! I am about 100 pounds over weight. Low car/sugar free now to lose weight. Lost 18 lbs in the last 6 weeks!!

    ARCHIVED Outback

Mine too. I dont know where the confusion is, but I have always orderd the veggies "with out the butter ball" because the Gluten-Free menu clearly says "order without seasoned butter." I don't think this is new. I have been ordering like this at Outback (accorinding to their menu) for over 18 months now. I wonder why they would have a old menu.... ATTENTION...
  23. I am a pharmacy tech. I considered pharmacy school, just not sure right now. We are about to move, so I wouldn't even start until next year.....how are you liking it?
  24. I researched it when I was a consultant, and there were only 5 things with gluten. One was the Advanced Moisture Renewal Treatment Cream, one was the OLD mascara (starts with an "E", endless performance?), the nail polish, the eye primer, and the concealer. As far as I know, your other items do not contain gluten. I use the oil free eyemakeup remover now...
