  10. thanks so much for everyone's support! my girls have been gluten free since the first of january. kassie and molly are doing great. i don't think tianna's depression has to do with the celiac diet----i think she's been this way for a long time----we just didn't pick up on it. she's always been quieter and a more solemn child than her twin. she is really...

  14. i've had reflux for about 15 years. both of my twins have reflux. my baby had such severe reflux that she had a fundoplication/hiatal hernia repair at 10 months old. i think that my youngest celiac daughter is developing reflux also. she has been complaining of stuff coming up her throat---last night it was burning. i quit taking meds awhile ago because...

  17. i guess doctors go into denial too??? not testing to see if he has celiac, because the diet could be dangerous?? do they think that ignorance is bliss? our ped gi told me that the gluten free diet is a healthy diet and that it is used for other things also, such as irritable bowel. christine

  19. celiac disease does not come and go---but the symptoms can wax and wane over the years. and, becuase the symptoms often disappear through the teen years, it used to be thought that celiac could be outgrown. how were you diagnosed when you were a year old? christine
