ARCHIVED First Cause Of Autoimmunity?

Do we know the number one adverse effect for 26 or more vaccines by the age of 18 months? -
Okay, I am getting so fed up with the medical system (or should we call it the slash'n'drug system)!! Someone I know suggested an alternative--a Chinese woman (who used to be a nurse) who switched to acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She did get a big write-up (very positive) in our local paper a couple of years ago. I am seriously considering...

Thank you so much for sharing your story and the information. I'm learning much, much more from this board than I ever could from doctors. -

VERY interesting! I think you'll find at least a few of us who share your stance on vaccines. My son's school had a chickenpox outbreak last year. It was very hush-hush, with the school sending home a note saying that "a few" children had come down with chicken pox. My son was one (and his case was very mild--maybe 5 or 6 pox total). A few days later... -
Matzoh! Ingredients: matzoh flour (wheat flour that has been blessed) and water. And it's perfect for the holidays! (You can try it with Fleishmann's margarine--it's dairy-free.)

I was given Advair when I had bronchitis and pleurisy last year. The Advair in particular made me feel horrible. I swear, I couldn't breathe AFTER I used it. I refused to take it after 24 hours; my doctor was miffed at me--he wanted me to take more and stronger meds. I persuaded him to let me use plain old Albuterol instead, which seemed to help. ... -

Also probiotics--like yogurt or kefir--help. Try plain yogurt with a little fruit (not too much sugar, as that feeds the yeast). -

"...the military tried to develop an anthrax vaccine of unsurpassed safety and purety; how military scientists gradually learned that their new vaccine, though pure, was also ineffective;; and how, to boost its effectiveness, they added an "adjuvant," an oil called squalene, to stimulate the immune system. What they didn't know, but should have known, is... -

There might have been thimerasol in whatever they injected in you, either as an anasthetic or in the IV. -

By any chance, did he just have any vaccines in the last 48 hours? That's how my oldest reacted--and there was a delay of a few hours before he started with hours of screams like I've never heard before or since (and I hope never to hear them again). -

It is very hard to make an informed consent when you've just been through 2 days of labor and 3 1/2 hours of pushing, and the nurse comes into your room a couple of hours after delivery and says, "Time for shots--don't worry, it's hospital policy, we do this all the time, here sign this--"and pushes an unreadable document in your face to sign. That kind... -

Two of my children were given live-virus vaccines (polio and DPT). The flu shot and the chicken pox vaccine still contain thimerasol (which is 49.6% mercury--an OBVIOUS autism link). IMO, vaccines are even worse than antibiotics. I do agree with you about antibiotics being necessary for some things (some vaccines, too). Interesting that a large percentage... -

I only just saw your post now--sorry I didn't see it before. Oh, I'm so sorry your little guy had such an awful time! I hope it never happens again. Would a hot water bottle on his tummy help? -

Good point, Elonwy. I just talked to a friend of mine who is applying for a Green Card. She said that in order to get the application, she had to pay several hundred dollars for the privilege of receiving several vaccines. She has no idea what they were. She doesn't think anyone ever asked her what vaccines she had received in the past, and they certainly... -

Sorry, Elonwy, I didn't mean to offend you. 20 years ago, I knew many people who had AIDS. You're the first person I've "talked to" since then who even knows anybody who has that diagnosis. Oh--my understanding is that AZT is still given as part of the triple cocktail. Is that no longer true? That would be interesting. -

Can you eliminate anything in your diet that is sure to cause acid (tomato-based products, alcohol, caffeine, citrus, pineapple, etc)? Many people think that taking a proton-pump inhibitor is a green light to eat anything that they want, but the foods that contain acid still contain acid, and it just goes down instead of up! I find rice at every meal... -

But what does it mean? Does going off gluten cause a higher degree of gluten sensitivity no matter where you were on the spectrum before going off gluten? I don't think other allergens do this. I went off nuts (all right, I am nuts) for a couple of years after getting married as my husband is allergic. I never had problems when I started eating them... -

I actually have an extra one (a Kitchenaid) sitting in my garage gathering dust as we speak. It weighs a ton, so I don't know how much it would cost to send it to you. You can have it--you wouldn't be driving anywhere near Pittsburgh, PA, would you? -

Almost everything that I like is (except my daughter's favorite Chef-Boy-R-Dee)available either by mail-order or at Whole Foods, BUT IT'S SO BLEEPING EXPENSIVE!!!!! I would like to be able to make my meals (even from scratch) without paying for it like it's coming from a 4-star resaurant!!!!! -
Thanks, that looks delicious! I made gluten-free matzoh-less balls--and they turned out great!!!!! 4 Tablespoons chicken fat (I skim mine off the broth that I make and freeze it) 4 eggs 1/2 cup all-purpose gluten-free flour mix 3/4 cup dried potato flakes AND onion powder, garlic powder, dill and chopped parsley to taste Mix, refrigerate...
