  1. Lisa, Thank you for putting your picture up. I love "seeing" who I'm talking too. Stephanie, It's also good to see you. Jen, Love your new picture too. Armetta, You need to take the one that Lynne has up after she puts up her new one. Patti and Judy, Thank you for putting yours back up. I've had mine with the baby...
  2. Lee, Sounds like you've been busy lately. Make sure you take the time to rest and take care of yourself.
  3. Susan, Your dogs sound absolutely precious. Do go to the conference (and you too Donna), so you two can meet up. Tavi, Where in N. Cal are you....around Sacramento at all? We are probably about 10 hours away from there. We are 5 1/2 from Medford OR I think (In Washington). I'd love to meet you Californian's. That is more realistic...
  4. Jen, Beautiful photo of you. Lynne, great shot. I posted earlier (I thought). Must have moved onto something else before it went through.
  5. Robbin, I don't think parsley and cilantro have the same properties (at least not to my tongue I don't like eiter but far prefer parsley over cilantro). I'm sorry everyone is going through possible lyme infections. Wow, seems like everyone came to the same conclusion around the same time. My dad is home and needs to go through dialysis...
  6. If you got the whole panel that includes the dairy for $369, then it included the gene test. Did you do the swabs and send them in anyway? The soy/egg/yeast is $199. For a total of $568. I got those done too.
  7. I had my whole family except my infant son tested. Only my husband came back negative. My infant son is the one who alerted us that something was wrong. He broke out with eczema just after 2 months of age. Allergy testing for me revealed gluten and soy allergies among others (see sig). I later tested through enterolab and found I am also intolerant...
  8. Welcome to the board! This is a good place to learn, pour your heart out, rant......whatever you need. There are a lot of caring, concerned people, and more than likely some have gone/or are going through what you are. You've come to the right place.
  9. Susan, I love you and miss you! There is no such thing as the end of the road. Sometimes a new road needs to be forged. Sometimes the harder we try and make things happen the more problems we encounter. Step back and let things happen in God's time. I know, easier said than done. I need to keep that in mind myself too. I didn't meet my...
  10. Mitch has been rescheduled for next Wednesday morning. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.
  11. I love horses!!!!! I had one in high school. Now I collect breyer custom painted horses.
  12. Shalia, I'm sorry you had to go through all of that. I'm glad you found this forum, it's great! I'm also glad that you are doing so much better. Floridian, Very well put. Please don't put yourself down, you are a great contribution to this forum.
  13. Evie, That is so great that they took such good care of you in the hospital. Glad you are home though and have your computer back so you can visit with us.
  14. Night Evie. Take care of yourself and get some rest.
  15. Thanks Judy.
  16. Wow Evie! A big HUG....you've been through a lot. I was wondering where you'd gotten too. I hope things clear up and you get better quickly. Rachel, That is so nice that you help the older customers out. I agree that a lot of people today don't treat the elderly very well. Some people don't treat anyone very well. I don't work, but if I did...
  17. Welcome Adelle! You've come to the right place. This is a very warm and loving community. BTW....I'm about 2 hours North of you....SW Washington, north of Vancouver about 1/2 hour.
  18. Molly, Don't forget, Rachel LOVES heat. She thinks 85 is too cool.
  19. I bolded and colored the key point. If you read the whole article, I don't personally believe that we can eat soy again, just as we can't eat gluten again.
  20. Rinne, I'm sorry you're going through a dark mood right now. Sounds like the salt/vit c trick is working pretty well for you. I am one who never realized that Lyme was so prevelant. I hope this episode of herx goes by quickly. HUGS for you. Has anyone else in your family been tested for celiac or lyme or such?
  21. Hi Stephanie! We are fine. Busy with homeschool. Maybe since summer is over everyone is back to the humdrum of whatever normal living is. I'm cutting my time here on the board but always read.
  22. Enjoy Life makes a good sandwich bread if you want to buy it. I make the bread from Annalise Roberts cookbook and it does fall apart pretty easy but it is very good. I have the Bosch Universal system and use the bread hooks for mixing the bread batter.
  23. If you read any of Dogtor J's stuff, he has done a lot of research and says that dysentry is really celiac. It poses the same symptoms. His site is Open Original Shared Link. I believe the article is "The Answer". It is very long but the part about dysentry is within the first 12 pages I believe of the part of the article called "Why is the Plane of our...
  24. You are gluten, dairy and soy intolerant. You really will need to go off of all of them. Soy can cause the same damage as gluten with your intestines. My soy score was the same as yours BTW. I am gluten and soy allergic and intolerant, and dairy allergic but not intolerant. I am also recently gluten, soy and dairy free. I use cashews for cheese...
  25. If you are allergic or intolerant to soy, lecithin would probably cause problems.
