Can anyone out there let me know what type of dish detergent they use that is gluten free? I believe my fingers are scaly and such due to my dish detergent. I keep trying to get the company on the phone but by the time I get to someone that I can talk to about this my son is screaming. So please any help would be appreciated!!

I use Cascade, which I am fairly certain is gluten free.

Every dish detergent I've checked has been gluten-free. Dawn is.

My hands are all broken out right now too. I get skin splits and bleeding. It hurts. I would love to know what the clupret is! I use JOY soap. Normally the soap is fine and it is not a new bottle, so I am sure something else is killing my hands. Try Crazy Glue for skin splits and Vasaline petroleum jelly or Olive Oil for the scaly hands.

You could have a reaction to what is in dish detergents. I cannot use them, good thing I have a dish washer. When I have to use dish detergents I have to wear vinyl gloves because of my latex allergy.

I use Ivory Classic which is gluten-free and it doesn't bug my hands, I'm also very reactive to soaps, and it doesn't bug me. Smells nice too.

I use Ultra Dishmate, Natural Pear by Earth Friendly Products. I get it at the health food store and it's not too exspensive. I contacted the company and they say it's gluten-free.

Here's their website

Hope this helps your hands. :)

My hands tend to get rough and the tips of my fingers can crack in the wintertime, especially. I think, in my case, that it is due to the heat being on which makes for lower humidity in the house. Add to that, all the handwashing--for all the normal reasons and being extra careful for gluten reasons. I use Palmolive dishwashing liquid, but also have a dishwasher, so I'm not doing dishes all the time. Maybe once a day for pans, etc.

I use Cascade or Seventh Generation and they both are gluten free.

Does anyone know if Sunlight is gluten-free?

What you’re describing is actually very common, and unfortunately the timing of the biopsy likely explains the confusion. Yes, it is absolutely possible for the small intestine to heal enough in three months on a strict gluten-free diet to produce a normal or near-normal biopsy, especially when damage was mild to begin with. In contrast, celiac antibodies can stay elevated for many months or even years after gluten removal, so persistently high antibody levels alongside the celiac genes and clear nutrient deficiencies strongly point to celiac disease, even if you don’t feel symptoms. Many people with celiac are asymptomatic but still develop iron and vitamin deficiencies and silent intestinal damage. The lack of immediate symptoms makes it harder emotionally, but it doesn’t mean gluten isn’t harming you. Most specialists would consider this a case of celiac disease with a false-negative biopsy due to early healing rather than “something else,” and staying consistently gluten-free is what protects you long-term—even when your body doesn’t protest right away.

Yes, I meant if you had celiac disease but went gluten-free before screening, your results would end up false-negative. As @trents mentioned, this can also happen when a total IGA test isn't done.

I found at Disney springs and Disney they have specialist that when told about dietary restrictions they come and talk to you ,explain cross contamination measures tsken and work with you on choices. Its the one place I dont worry once I've explained I have celiac disease.  Thier gluten free options are awesome.

Have you tried Pure Encapsulations supplements? This is a brand my doctor recommends for me. I have no issues with this brand.

plant sources of calcium, such as spinach, have calcium bound to oxalates, which is not good. best source of calcium is unfortunately dairy, do you tolerate dairy? fermented dairy like kefir is good and or a little hard cheese. i do eat dairy, i can only take so much dietary restriction and gluten is hard enough! but i guess some people do have bad reactions to it, so different for everyone.
