As for the sauna, I kind of knew that the only immediate danger I was in was the danger of being extremely embarrassed.:lol: And bare assed. :P

:lol::lol:

Rinne...that cracks me up every time!!

After checking out your photo Rachel, I just have to add an OOH LA LA to the VA VA VOOM. You are stunning. :) And most beautiful is the energy that radiates from you, in addition to your obvious assets. :)

Thanks Rinne....and did I mention how easily I'm embarrassed??

We need one of those blushing emoticons too.

I finally finished my spreadsheet...phew, I'm exhausted.

Dang Donna....I am not nearly as organized as you are!! Yay for you...this is an accomplishment for sure. I wouldnt dare tackle anything like that.

Its hard enough for me just to figure out how to make my cookies.

What's the Heinz 57 Club?

My mom turned 57 today. ;)

I dont think I ever heard of the Heinz 57 club?? ....maybe my mom just made it up today.

I have my next session of ART scheduled! Scott just emailed me with the day he is going to test next and gave me some time choices. June 2 after my BioSET session. Yay!

Yay!! I cant wait to hear about it. :)

Rachel--24 Collaborator
I got Seth's baby keepsake blanket done....just need to wash it with the backing and take it up to a friend to sew the backing on for me. I also got his birth record finished, Talitha's latch hook done and I've started on Seth's latch hook.

Andrea...you accomplished ALOT today!!

OMG...everyone is being so productive...it always feels great to get stuff done! :)

Wanna know what I accomplished today??

I accomplished running over one of the sprinkler heads with the lawn mower.

After that I accomplished driving to the store to get a new one....luckily I bought 3 because I also accomplished breaking one of them while trying to install it.

Not a very productive day for me today. <_<

Well, the cookies turned out really dry. I was hoping for a nice moist oatmeal cookie. I wish there was a "Gluten-Free Baking for Dummies" cookbook! I tried grinding the oatmeal to make oat flour, which turned out ok. My cookies rose nicely, but they were dry. Don't know how to get them to be chewy  .

Claire....sometimes mine are dry and other times they're pretty decent. I'm not good at keeping the measurements the same and when they come out good I cant remember exactly how much of each ingredient I used. I think I make them different each time.

Too bad I couldnt eat raisins!!

Stupid mold ruins everything.

My mom turned 57 today. ;)

She was a young mommy....Carla too. By the time I'm 57 my daughter will only be 24. :o If anyone need to be in a Heinz club, it's me. My dad was a little of a lot of different races. I've always heard of Heinz in that respect, a hodgepodge so to speak. :)

Andrea...you accomplished ALOT today!!

The projects were this last week. I have been working on things during Seth's nap and Talitha has been helping (and Micah when he's not playing) so she's learned to read the symbol chart for latchhook, as well as at night when the children are in bed.

I accomplished running over one of the sprinkler heads with the lawn mower.

After that I accomplished driving to the store to get a new one....luckily I bought 3 because I also accomplished breaking one of them while trying to install it.

:o I'm sorry. I'm glad you bought more than one. That would have been highly irritating to have to go back and get another one. Must have been irritating enough on its own. :(

Dear Rachel,

You are so pretty in both of the pics! That must have been a wonderful birthday! You look absolutely stunning in the dress, too! You look like you are closer to my age than your actual age! I wish I had your skin tone!

As far as Jacqui goes, yes her kids have Celiac. Also, she told me her daughter's behavior has changed dramatically. She has gotten hateful. She said she is still consuming gluten at school. I told her it would be wise to put her on a completely gluten-free diet after school's out. She should then monitor her behavior.

She should also try a rotation diet to rule out any other allergens that could result in psychotropic effects. The odd thing is Madeline has Osteopenia and some other things, yet tested negative for Celiac, despite the presence of both genes! I told her, maybe the Celiac was just not activited until recently. A cold can put it into action. It is an odd disease.

The carageenan is probably the culprit here. I have 8th Continent Soymilk, and I got sick right after eating cereal. Cocoa Pebbles never bother me when I eat them dry. What do you want to bet this additive is the trouble? How irritating is that?

Dear Bev,

You make such a beautiful bride! I bet it was heavenly! It sounds like you found your true love.

That is wonderful! Having someone like that can make all the difference in the world!

Oh, yeah, and that accupuncturist is a babe! He is played by Tim Daley from Wings and Eyes! Addison is attracted to him. The thing is, his character is the type who is not there for you. He will sleep with Addison, but the long-term stuff is not his style, according to his best friend.

Dear Patti,

My mother's birthday is also this month! Her's was the 10th! That is so funny! My grandmother died years ago, before I was even born. Mamaw's birthday was the 14th.

Dear Cheryl,

HAPPY LATE BIRTHDAY!

Dear Rinne,

Maybe in your case, the sauna story could have spawned a new spelling. Instead of embarrassed, you were in-bare-assed! I think that describes it! That would be so awkward. Those situations always seem to be frequent!

I was surprised about the safe amount of soy. I am glad I came across that, though. It is easy to overdo things. Healthy foods can become dangerous if eaten in excess. The all things in moderation mantra really is the smarter way to go.

Dear Claire,

I have not had an ultrasound in a while. It is something I am not thrilled about doing, but it is a good thing to have done. I see my doctor next month. This has been going on for more than two years, and I know there has to be something wrong. There is so much that is not right. Anemia is something I believe is a part of this. I was anemic before. I had ovarian cysts as a teenager. Five in less than ten months is never a good thing.

I had read before that hyperthyroids cause palpitations and rapid heartbeat. It scares you a lot. You do not have to be nervous or anything. It just goes nuts on you. I just hate having to keep flipping back and forth. You have to go get blood tests all of the time. It is so irritating. I heard Armour Thyroid balances it naturally. Do you know anything about this stuff?

Sincerely,

Jin

Rachel-

I ahve always been a multi tasker. before I got sick I always had ton of stuff on my plate. I think now that I'm sick its obviosly harder to get alot of stuff done but because I ahve no control over being sick I think I have become a little crazy by trying to do alot so I can feel acomplished and feel like I still have control over some aspects of my life. I don't know if I explained this right. I ahve more energy in the morning so I always do a ton of crap so that at night when I don't feel as good I can try to just relax and still feel acomplished for the day. It seems like most of the things I have to do revolve around food preperation since I have to make about pretty much everything I eat.

I make these little cookies they ahve sunflower butter in them though so I guess you can't eat them but there really easy. I cannot use stevia that stuff kills me so I use alittle agave nectar as sweetener which I am ok with.

Donna-

I love that personal pic of you- you're really beautiful!!!

I cannot wait to hear about your next ART appt.

I ahve to talk to my doc today to see if I am gonna up my diflucan dose I ahve beeen on it for one week and last time I took I went up to 2 after a week so I may do that again. Today is my last day on the estorgen patch and tomorrow I go on the oral pill - I am a litttle nervous but I feel alot better that I did the patch first to ease my body into it as opposed to going straight on the pill which I was going to do origanally.

I have to call today to set up an appt. with the cranio sacral lady. She is really busy though so I hope she can fit me in soon.

Oh, my astrologer was telling me that scopios are like that; like the phoenix rising from the flames.

Claire- My question is WHY THE HECK DO WE KEEP LIGHTING OURSELVES ON FIRE???? :P :P

Rinne? Any answers? I'm running out of matches :P

Rachel- I'm sorry about your lawnmower/sprinkler incident :(

Jin- I agree. You need to get that stuff checked out. Contrary to what most Americans believe THIS is what credit cards are for (not Lucky Jeans and Ralph Lauren bedding- no offense to anyone who has those and no Lucky Jeans were injured in the making of this comment :P ). Credit cards are for EMERGENCIES and as far as I'm concerned- any health carre issue is an emergency.

Andrea- You are kicking butt! Look at all that stuff you have going on! Nice!

Dear Bev,

I cannot get a credit card, due to not having an income. My parents will not get them right now. They are good to help build good credit. Right now, theirs is bad. They shunned credit cards years ago. They use a Debit now. I can apply for the statewide program for uninsured Hoosiers. I know it will not pay for the Lyme testing and the other things, but I could still use it for the fibroids and some blood tests maybe. I have not been able to find anything on it, though. I am going to ask my doctor the next time I see her.

Sincerely,

Jin

Not feeling so hot today. Haven't slept well in almost two weeks now and I'm just so tired along with feeling exhausted in general. I've been in the bathroom three times already this morning and it's only 6:30 here. :( I started a new supplement this morning, but I'm positive that doesn't have anything to do with the bathroom issue...COQ10...I've taken that before and it didn't cause D. I'm more inclined to think this might be a little lyme cycle type thing...or a mercury cycle...or a vitamin imbalance cycle...or a mold cycle...

Wanted to get out and weed today but it decided to rain. Aaaawwwwww, too bad. :P I'm not complaining mind you. :) I got Seth's baby keepsake blanket done....just need to wash it with the backing and take it up to a friend to sew the backing on for me. I also got his birth record finished, Talitha's latch hook done and I've started on Seth's latch hook. Talitha's learned to read the chart so I'm going to get her a little latch hook to do. This is all stuff I bought a couple years ago that I'm just getting back too. Still have cross stitch to do for the children that they picked out (except Seth, I picked out his). Also Mitch's and my cross stitches and latch hook. I wonder how long this craft spurt will last.

:o Oh my, makes my spreadsheet marathon seem like child's play. Hum, I should send some of my craft stuff up to you!

Thanks for linking that Charlie. Looks like a pretty good site. :)

Ditto!!!

Oh, my astrologer was telling me that scopios are like that; like the phoenix rising from the flames.

Hugs back to you! Yep, phoenix rising from the flames...and I'm not even a scorpio! I DID date one once... :P

Good morning Donna :D --I always forget it's so much earlier where you are. Sorry about your prolonged cycle of feeling yucky. Hope things start to kick in and at least give you periods where you feel good in between. Lord knows, we need those to keep our sanity! ;)

I really like your personal pic--your hair has gotten a lot longer since then. It's such an elegant picture. :)

Jin--I had bleeding problems from the time I was your age--actually younger. I always had killer cramps that did ease up after I gave birth. The mistake I made was living with the heavy bleeding, cramping, clots, and anemia for far too long.

Finally, as you know, enough was enough--and I had the hysterectomy. What they found was surprising--fibroids (those wern't a surprise, but one was huge at 8 cm.), an endometrial polyp, adenomyosis, and advanced endometriosis. With the exception of the adeno. (which is usually found in older women), the rest should have been adressed long before they got so bad that they interferred with my life and caused such intense pain.

The surprising thing about all this is that I go to the gyn EVERY year! My paps are always normal, but I always downplayed the symptoms, so they went unaddressed. My bad

My advice to you--when you can, make it a priority to get this checked out. It's not normal, even if you are used to it. Endometriosis can also cause or make worse GI issues--many times they are mistaken for each other. It can start in your teens, and the only way to firmly diagnose it is by laproscopic surgery.

I don't know how long this article will be up but my FIL just called to tell me about it. He was pretty amazed. The only thing that I don't like about the article is that it claims that babs is rare and that it makes it sound easily treatable. Maybe in this guy's case, because it was detected sooner, he did treat it more easily.

At least the word BABESIOIS will be in everyone's vocab out here. Bout Time!

Dear Patti,

I plan to do something soon. I do not want to let this go. I would not be surprised if I had endometriosis. My bowels have been acting up more than they used to lately. That could be why. I have had cysts before on my ovaries. That is why I was placed on the Depo. My mother had cysts as well. That was why she ended up getting a hysterectomy at 31!

Dear Rinne,

Rachelville Dictionary:

in-bare-assed - being humiliated in a social situation while naked.

The anemia is likely. I was anemic previously. I noticed I feel better when I eat beef. If I do not eat it at least twice a week, I get run-down and sicker. The moderation thing is difficult to manage. Do not beat yourself up! Besides, Rinne Bars are good! My current Rinne Bar substitute is chocolate. I have not had any, and boy could I use some!

Dear Laura,

Thank you for the info! I now have those sites in my favorites. I should be able to get something going now. :) They would at least help with prescriptions and some basic tests, like maybe bloodwork. I really appreciate it!

Dear Donna,

I am sorry to hear you are having such a hard time. I get like that, too. I may not sleep more than a couple hours off and on for a week, and then other days I sleep up to twelve hours off and on. I read that is typical with Lyme. That would make sense.

Dear Bev,

Don't worry, I knew what you meant! HUGS! ;) Credit cards can be helpful. The problem is, most people do not use them properly. A lot of people get themselves into a hole they cannot get out of. One of my friends is $20,000 in the hole! She used it out of desperation, and now she regrets it.

Yep, I'm at work today...seriously thought about staying home, but since I have just under 7 days left of sick time, didn't want to stay home unless it was absolutely necessary. I may go home when my co-worker gets here. That would only be 1-1/2 hours early, but better than nothing. At least I can make up my time that way.

Thanks for posting that link Bev. :)

I found this to be interesting..

"The Lyme disease didn't make me sick at all," Gregory said. "Babesiosis really knocked me out."

Thats how I feel!! I feel like Lyme doesnt contribute to any of my symptoms. My ART session showed F. Babs ( ) to be more of a problem for me. My Dr. seemed to feel the same way.

Also when I take my cats claw for Lyme....I have never had any sign of a herx or anything else. It doesnt matter how many drops I take...I dont feel a thing. It tests well for me in ART...as in....it really seems to handle the Lyme infection....keeping it in check. I dont think I'm sick from the Lyme though....its just there.

When I recently started started taking Noni for the Babesia...there does seem to be some change in symptoms after taking it. I dont think I'll be able to increase the dose as easily as I do with my stuff for Lyme.

It'll be interesting to see what happens in my next ART session.

AndreaB Contributor

Ok, I went and read the article. It is interesting. I wonder why they say babs is so rare and that lyme is more common. Don't those two go hand in hand a lot?

Donna,

I really like your new pic. :)

Rachel,

Are you at home today or just real late to work? :)

Before the rise of social media we were well known by a lot of doctors and were recommended by many, especially our Safe & Forbidden Lists, but as doctors get younger and younger this is probably not happening as much as before.

Thanks Scott I will definitely check my vitamins and minerals to see what I am missing so then I can supplement. I was very concern about my Meniers syntoms and i tryed to find some alive. Now im just realizing that my celiac is provably the root cause of my Meniers none of the 12 doctors I saw told me anything about this.  This web site is so helpful, thanks to people like you we can get answers.

Vitamin D deficiency can contribute to rib pain. Chest pain stemming from the ribs ccould be costochondritis, which involves inflammation of the cartilage connecting the ribs to the breastbone. This pain can range from mild to severe, potentially mimicking heart attack symptoms, and is often worsened by breathing or movement. Other potential causes include muscle strain, rib fractures, or even referred pain from other conditions.  It will also help to chose vegetables low in omega 6.
