Max loved the tuna, did not care for the salmon. I believe I've eaten more fish this week then in the last month - and I eat a lot of fish. I think he's put on a half pound or so (maddeningly slow).

Lyle's back gums are infected. He's on antibiotics and pain meds. Gotta bring him back in when the infections down for a recheck.

He's really likin' the tramadol.

Poor wee Max, but glad he's liking de fish; and Lyle's wackled out on Tramadol :o

I just did THE stoopidest thing.....made a lil dessert of yogurt, blueberries and nuts. Went to sprinkle on some cinnamon and grabbed the garlic power instead. Tried to scrape it off and then mix it really well--didn't work, actually almost made me gag. :angry:

That'll teach me to pay attention to what I'm doing :lol:

Lost all me wackle today with two doctor visits!!, a boob sqeezin', a financial consultant consultation, a Starbucks coffee with no orange cake (all out, dey says), a Tj's session, and me head is hurtin'. Mebbe tomorra folks!

I udderstand that I can get a full body press. Do I have to make an appt.? My knees are the worse. I was going to get a series of lifts - starting at the knees and working my way up to the forehead. So many lifts, so little time.

So yeah, I've been lurking, reading and giggling with/at;) you all for a while, but not sure I can keep up with you :P Somethin happened to me last night, I thought you may appreciate, if you can visualize the perdicament I found myself in....

Found a mouse in the house-GROSS, in the kids' playroom-more GROSSER

Bought those glue traps because the damn mouse managed to get into the "humane" traps and ate all the peanut butter without the door closing :huh:

Decided to spoon a dollop of PB in the middle of the glue trap to entice the little bugger

4y/o son crying-don't kill the mouse, I want to keep him

8y/o dd, cheering me on-KILL the mouse, hahahaha (insert eeevil laugh)

I try to spoon on the PB, the spoon gets stuck the the glue trap, I try to pry it off, my hand gets stuck to the trap, PB falls and globs onto the carpet, now trying to get hand AND spoon of the trap, trap hits the wall and gets stuck to that, I'm laughing like a looney, I can't physically STOP laughing, I'm now stuck to the wall...

DD is laughing

DS is crying and runs from the room, NOT clearing the doorway where I have placed another trap, now the stupid thing is stuck to HIS foot and he's running around screaming

I'm CRYING now, I can't stop laughing

I think I'm a bad mom! :lol::lol:

Actually, that is a linked image. Until very recently, they were prohibited on this board, but Scott has enabled the capability.

Wow, 1,000 posts, and now I'm stuck here :D I will try my bestest. As fir the pspelling, I will have to enter slowly-you have no ideer how many words I tried to misspell and had to fix, I'm a bit OCD-maybe this will be my therapy :P

All right, we have exhausted the subject of trans-vaginal ultra-sounds here. I have another proceedure, equally invasive but likely not as undignified, to bring up and on which to get feedback: the infamous bone scan.

Who's had one? This will likely be happening here -- my foot is not improving to my satisfaction (um, haven't been resting it enough, it would seem <_< ), so I believe this is the next step.

Crap, don't like this idea -- radioactive material coursing through me, attaching to me bones?? Hell. . . . . ...... :huh::unsure:

Well, if ya got breasts like me mom, you just might be able to not only sleep, but drift into unconsciousness.... . . . . ..... :rolleyes:

      @catnapt, Wheat germ contains high amounts of lectins which are really hard to digest and can be irritating to the digestive tract. They can stimulate IgG antibody production as your blood test shows. Even beans have lectins. You've simply eaten too many lectins and irritated your digestive tract. You may want to allow your digestive tract...

      My journey is it gluten or fiber?

      I take Now B-1 (100 mg) Thiamine Hydrochloride, and Amazing Formulas L-Tryptophan (1000 mg). Both are gluten free and free of other allergens. I've taken them for a long time and haven't had a problem with them. I take Vitamin A from BioTech called "A-25". It's gluten and allergen free and made in the USA. It's a powder form of Vitamin A. ...

      I wouldn't consider this lucky. I can NOT tolerate the symptoms. And I googled it and I was not even getting 10 grams of gluten per day and I was extremely ill. They'd have to put me in the hospital. I'm not kidding. I will have my first appt with a GI dr on March 4th I will not eat gluten again - at least not on purpose ...

I take Vitamin A from BioTech called "A-25".  It's gluten and allergen free and made in the USA.  It's a powder form of Vitamin A.  I was having trouble digesting fats at one point, but found I tolerated the powder form much better and have stuck with it since.   Tryptophan and Vitamin A help heal the intestines as well as improves skin health.  I get Dermatitis Herpetiformis and eczema flairs when my stomach is upset.  So I'm healing the outside as well as the inside.   I take one 1000 mg Tryptophan before bedtime.   With the Thiamine HCl, take 100 mg to start.  If you don't notice anything, three hours later take another. You can keep increasing your dose in this manner until you do notice improvement.  Remember not to take it in the evening so it won't keep you too energized to sleep. When I first started Thiamine HCl, taking 500 mg to 1000 mg to start was recommended.  If you've been thiamine insufficient for a while, you do notice a big difference.  It's like the start of a NASCAR race: Zoom, Zoom, turn it up!   This scared or made some people uncomfortable, but it's just your body beginning to function properly, like putting new spark plugs in your engine.  I took 1000 mg all at once without food.  It kicked in beautifully, but I got a tummy ache, so take with food.  I added in Thiamine TTFD and Benfotiamine weeks later and felt like I was Formula One racing.  So cool.  You may feel worse for a couple days as your body adjusts to having sufficient thiamine.  Feels sort of like you haven't cranked your engine for a while and it backfires and sputters, but it will settle down and start purring soon enough.  Adjust your dose to what feels right for you, increasing your dose as long as you feel improvement.  You can reach a plateau, so stay there for several days, then try bumping it up again.  If no more improvements happen, you can stay at the plateau amount and experiment with increasing your Thiamine TTFD.  It's like being your own lab rat.  LoL Yes, take one Benfotiamine at breakfast and one at lunch.  Take the B Complex at breakfast. Take the TTFD at breakfast and lunch as well.  I like to take the vitamins at the beginning of meals and the NeuroMag at the end of meals.   You may want to add in some zinc.  I take Thorne Zinc 30 mg at breakfast at the beginning of the meal.   Are you getting sufficient Omega Threes?  Our brains are made up mostly of fat.  Flaxseed oil supplements, sunflower seed oil supplements (or eat the seeds themselves) can improve that.  Cooking with extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil, or coconut oil is also helpful.   @Wheatwacked likes phosphotidyl choline supplements for his Omega Threes.  He's also had dramatic health improvement by supplementing thiamine.  You're doing great!  Thank you for sharing your journey with us.  This path will smooth out.  Keep going!

      good luck! vital wheat gluten made me violently ill. I will touch the stuff ever again.

      I wouldn't consider this lucky. I can NOT tolerate the symptoms. And I googled it and I was not even getting 10 grams of gluten per day and I was extremely ill. They'd have to put me in the hospital. I'm not kidding.   I will have my first appt with a GI dr on March 4th   I will not eat gluten again - at least not on purpose   they are going to have to come up with a test that doesn't require it.

      What Thiamine Hydrochloride brand do you take? Is it like the other vitamins I have added? What brand Tryptophan and amount do you take. Thanks
