I don't have the label in front of me to check for meat, but I use Progresso's Creamy Mushroom for all my casseroles, etc. It is listed as a vegetable soup on Open Original Shared Link

It is not a fully thick/condensed soup, but I heat it on the stove, and add gluten-free flour to thicken it a bit. My whole (non Celiac) family loves using it...my mom has even started using it at her house.

we use health valley cream of mushroom.

I just picked up Creamy Protobello Mushroom Soup by Imagine and it says on the back that it can be used in any recipe that calls for cream of mushroom soup. I was going to try it tonight and see how it worked......I can let you know :)

If they have Progresso Soup in your local grocery stores, Progresso makes a real good "Creamy Mushroom" soup. Its gluten-free and vegetarian. Nice size chunks of mushrooms, and a nice thick sauce.

Depending on what you need this for you can make your own. It is relatively simple but it does take more time than opening a can! Here is a link to the recipe if you would like to try it.

"Imagine" (I got it at Whole Foods) makes Cream of Portobello Mushroom soup - as well as a bunch of other varieties. I'm eating it today for lunch, and it's yummy!

:)

It sounds like you have a very reasonable GI doctor, who diagnosed you based on family history and symptoms after eating gluten. I would consider you lucky! The other option would be to make yourself very sick by doing weeks of a gluten challenge prior to an endoscopy.

Hi Colleen H,   I suffered with the pins and needles/burning feeling in my legs and feet for at least  6 years until my Nephrologist figured out that I had to go on a low salt diet.  He said my kidneys weren't strong enough to remove the salt.  The simple fix was a diuretic, but that med leaves the uric acid behind, so that wasn't an option.  On the bright side the low salt diet lowered my BP over 20 points and and the pins and needles/burning feeling went away.  Good Luck and hope this helps.

Yes this is very frustrating for me ... not sure what to think.  Feels like I'm having reactions to a lot of things  Now applesauce?? I don't understand 😞

I did ... But aren't we going to be vitamin deficienct if we are not eating due to being sick ?? If the food we eat is gluten free and we have other sensitivities , how do we get out of the cycle??  Thank you

Anyone else get pins and needles. ??? Burning feeling ? Heat makes it so much worse 😔  Winter is here.  I had to lower my thermostat because I couldn't take that hot air feeling 😔  Hopefully it goes away soon
