Im learning that I have quite a few food intolerances, some I probably dont know about.

Ive read about the Lame Advertisement test in a magazine and I want to know if anyone has had it, and if so is it a reliable testing method.

Apparantly with the Lame Advertisement test a person gets tested for almost a hundred different foods.

Heres the link if your interested in learning more.

this is really disheartening and strange.

The post I just posted yesterday (above) has somehow gotten changed. I dont know how this happened, but I wrote about the Lame Advertisement test to test for many food intolerances. I just checked this post and someone somehow changed what I wrote. They switched the Lame Advertisement test and turned it into "THE LAME ADVERTISEMENT TEST".

I feel this is a real violation to my words and intentions. And I find it very sad.

Certain words and phrases will be automatically changed (i.e., a person doesn't come in and change your post--it's built into the board software). Most likely it is a test which is a bit controversial in nature.

For instance, if you type "C D" without the space in between it will change to "celiac disease".

Another word I know off the top of my head is Lame Advertisement which will turn to "lame advertisement".

There are several more which I can't remember now though. This was not done to you personally, anyone who posts those terms would have it change automatically.

Yes, Lame Advertisement turns into "Lame Advertisement Test" for whatever reason.

I took the Lame Advertisement test and am mixed on whether it was worth it. It pulled up literally almost 50 foods that I had varying levels of sensitivity to. After varying my diet for a few months, I believe most of the foods it said I was intolerant to were false positives. It did, however, "say" that I was intolerant to cane sugar and corn, and when I cut both of them out of my diet, I stopped having the problems and symptoms I was having. I would NEVER have thought to cut out cane sugar, and I'd thought I was OK with corn when I did an elimination diet, but I guess not! In that sense, I think it was worth the $500 I paid. I just wish there hadn't been so many false positives.

If you were refering to the Lame Advertisement test...make sure you put spaces in between the letters so that it does not appear as "lame advertisement". As Donna stated....noone is changing your words. Its automatic and will happen to anyone.

Ok, I feel better about that.

The Lame advertisement thing totally took me off guard. I thought someone was disgruntled about the Lame Advertisement and wanted to mock it somehow.

Thanks for informing me of this, I would have never figured that out.

You're welcome. I know about this feature and still I sometimes forget to put the spaces between, lol! :)

Your response on this matter is what I expect. You’ve had a similar episode years ago, but this one is lasting longer!

I'd like to clarify: Is the pain you describe in the area just below your chest constant, or does it only appear when you start moving?
