Dalucianos In Chicago Area

so i just went to dalucianos italian restaraunt this week, and OMG!!! it was amazing! it was the first time i had pizza made for me by someone else in 2 1/2 years! the hubby and wife are soooooooo nice and sweet, and yes, they have 4 celiac kids :blink: even all my non-celiac friends that were with me thought the food was amazing! authentic italian! yay!

and i got on their mailing list to be notified when they start shipping their food, which should happen very soon...i'll keep y'all posted!

so if anyone is anywhere near chicago...it is definitely worth the trip! we live like 2 1/2 hours away, and i will be making the trip as a treat once in awhile!!! yummmmmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyy!!!

thats so awesome that you had a great meal, ive posted the web site on a few posts to get the word out , but i still havnt been there. i am really looking forward to getting there, but with both of my kids in baseball and softball we dont have a free night until july.you say the pizza is good???

hey angie .couple more questions, how is the dress code?? is it nice casual or just casual? and did it seem to be kid friendly. like 9 and 7 year old

the dress code is absolutely casual :) and yes the pizza is wonderful, and there were kids there...if you are going to take a party of more than 4 people though, i would recommend calling ahead as there are only like 12 tables in the place...lol...we had to wait awhile with our party of 9 :blink: but it was sooooooooo worth the wait!

i also had canolli for dessert...OMG was that the sweetest richest tastiest dessert i've ever had! i'd never had a canolli before, but i cant imagine that a gluten filled one could taste any better!

i cant wait to go back and try something else...soooooooo much to choose from on the gluten-free menu...such a treat!

That is a good place to eat and yes, it is totally casual. The mom and pop are delightful and are going to start a mail order business. They will be rich someday. It is interesting to read the book they bring to the table for you to sign...........there are lots of people in there. I wish I had tried the pizza, my granddaughter's favorite. I had the chicken parmesean and that is something I could have made at home, darn. The cream puffs for dessert were very good. It is kind fo expensive, but good.

This place sounds fantastic. I am going to downtown Chicago in December (brr!) and hopefully I can make it there. That is if I am not to stuffed from Nuts on Clark caramel corn.

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.

      Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye.
