There are quite a few new gluten-free items on Campbell's updated list, but the downside is that now NONE of their soups are gluten-free:

I'm glad I did what I did last Saturday - was at a small potluck dinner, the woman who brought the rice was proud of leaving the pasta out of her pilaf recipe, but there were 2 kinds of Campbells Soup involved. Since I don't usually buy canned soup & since she didn't have the cans with her, I had no idea whether they were gluten-free. So I didn't have any.

Sounds like that was a very good decision!

I'm not sure that is correct. Unless I'm mistaken, the Cambell's V8 Soups (at least the Tomato Herb) do not list any wheat on the box.

I was going by what I read on Triumph Dining's blog about it. Triumph says "...there are no longer any Campbell soups available in the U.S. that are gluten-free."

I also noticed shopping last night that a Campbells soup that was previously gluten free is gluten-free no longer so you may want to double check.

A few weeks ago I saw the Cambells V8 soups at Wallmart and was surprised not to find any wheat ingredients listed. So I bought the Tomato Herb. Never got to try it though as one night my wife wanted a grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup for dinner. We were out of regular Cambells tomato soup so I fixed her mine. Been meaning to get some more. I hope it hasn't changed.

BTW, they are considerably more expensive and are not condensed.

I remember a post floating around here a few months back stating they had made some changes to products. Such as Prego Sauce which now contains gluten? Please correct me if I misread a post.

OK, I was at WM today and checked out the Cambells V8 soups. Here are the varieties:

~ Tomato Herb

~ Golden Butternut Squash

~ Sweet Red pepper

~ Garden Broccoli

~ Southwestern Corn

I was short on time, and so read the labels quickly, but didn't see any wheat ingredients. There is a veritable plethora of ingredients however, so if someone has other intolerances there could be a problem.

I got some tomato, broccoli, and corn to try out.

best regards, lm

The following list contains products in which every ingredient in each product was verified as being gluten-free. As a further safeguard, we analyzed each product to ensure compliance with our strict gluten-free standards.

Those are some pretty high standards. I am not sure I would hesitate to occasionally eat a soup or something that wasn't on the list, after having carefully read the ingredient list and not seen any wheat, barley, rye, or other suspicious ingredients. I am sure I would feel differently if I were a super-sensitive.

I wholeheartedly agree. For those who are limited to eating only those food items that are actually labeled gluten-free, these soups might not be an option. Then again, there are those that still get sick eating some gluten-free labeled foods. Go figure.

Also, perhaps some companies are reluctant to label products as being gluten-free for a variety of reasons.

I didn't get to try any soup tonight. I stuck with my usual. Grilled chicken breast, margaritas, and nachos.

best regards, lm

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
