New Delphi Lists! Product Lists!

Delphi Forums put out their product list just recently. For those who are members, check it out--you can download the 60 page sort of master list or download a zip with individual product lists (like, medications, snacks, dairy, condiments, vitamins, desserts, etc.).

For those who aren't members, but want the list, I have both downloaded, so just e-mail or pm me with your e-mail address and whether you want the individual lists, one list, or both.

These lists are much better than the Sholland because they're updated more frequently.

Hi celiac3270.... I'm actually a member of Delphi groups but for me to be able to open the list I need to download winzip which appears to be $29.

Could you send me the list you have so I don't have to buy yet another program for my computer (why can't they come with what you need).

Sure, I'll take it out of the zip. It'll take a little longer to download that way, but at least you'll be able to download it. If anyone else had that problem, e-mail back and I'll send it upzipped.

I sent it to all the e-mail addresses listed. When in doubt, I sent it unzipped. It takes a little longer to download that way, but that way I know you'll be able to open it.

Sorry, Donna, I don't have your address. Could you PM (or e-mail) it to me? I would just send it through the celiac.com e-mail thing, but you can't put attachments in that way.

Karen, I was going to ask you if you wanted--forgetting that a list of gluten-free products in the US wouldn't be very helpful. <_< Sorry!

Yeah, I know... I'm from Canada as well... I bet that list is really helpful though!

BUT...

The Canadian Celiac Association comes out with updated lists. I just got one from the Charlottetown Chapter in PEI. Soooo if you're from Canada and want a list, just contact your local celiac association chapter. I know there is one available on PEI anyway. It's quite useful!

      Try heallix solution. It's at heallix.com It's a silver and fulvic acid solution. I just put it on a cotton ball and wiped the shingles area. I also took a little internally once a day. I can't remember how many times a day I applied to the area. Probably 3-4 times a day. It was the only thing that stopped the nerve pain. I don't know if the vaseline is...

      My husband just had shingles going on 7 weeks now. We had been putting Vaseline on the blisters and lidocaine cream and he was prescribed an antiviral. Also he still has the nerve pain it was bad and is getting better it is his upper left torso. His dr prescribed gabapentin 300mg 3x a day and he's also taking naproxen 500ng 2x a day and tylenol 1000mg every...

      This is FANTASTIC--especially that they are recognising barley and (potentially) oats as sources of gluten/contamination! Now if only we can get labeling guidelines to clarify "spices" and "natural flavors" for those of us with other severe allergies.

      Hi everyone, I decided to post this since there's no enough online information. I'm concerned about the enzyme capsules that are said to help digest gluten.  I'm waiting to end my university exams to start the gluten challenge and do the official diagnosis for Celiac Disease. A friend of mine suggested me to buy the "Gluten Digest Now" capsules during the Gluten Challenge to manage my severe side effects. But I'm not sure if it's worth it, if it's celiac disease the intestinal damage will occur regardless.  What about the symptoms? There's someone that knows if it could help to reduce them?  I’m worried people might be using these as a "safety net" without understanding how they work. Has anyone here used them during a challenge? Did they make a difference, or did they just provide a false sense of security?

I don't know if the vaseline is good.  The shingles need to dry out and heal.  Wash everything that comes in contact  with them in hot water. Don't use or wear anything twice.

Hope this helps  The lidocaine cream is by tylenol and is available in a large tube on Amazon or at Walmart

      What are your daily meals? Guilty pleasure snacks? Protein bars? I feel when looking for gluten free foods they are filled with sugar cholesterol. Looking for healthy gluten-free protein bars. Something to fill since sometimes I feel like not to eat anything. Especially if on vacation and unsure of cross contamination I figure go with a salad and protein bar to fill and play it safe.

      Unfortunately, there is presently no test for NCGS. Celiac disease must first be ruled out. NCGS is thought to be much more common than celiac disease. We know that celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder but the mechanism of NCGS is less clear. Both call for an elimination of gluten from the diet.
