Cashew Allergy?

I've been having a little constipation lately and I'm not sure if it is due to the amounts of cashews that I eat (I love them).

I think one can develop an allergy or sensitivity to certain things by eating them too much and I tend to take in a half-pound of cashews every day. I haven't been eating anything else that would indicate CC either.

If you have allergy to nuts, you would have the opposite reaction. It will be diarrhea and breathing difficulties, or bloody sores and swelling in mouth. You can even have anaphylactic sock as I did.

What else are you eating? Do you drink enough of liquids? It's hot outside. We have tendency to sweat more then usual and we will loose more water from our bodies.

Do you eat enough of fiber, fruits, vegetables?

Hm, I seem to be getting enough vegetables and such, my liquid intake has declined but by a minuscule amount. Well, I'll figure it out.

And here are the reasons for constipation. It can be food related, but also drug or hormon related. Check the list. You might have some idea.

google: What are the major reasons behind constipation and press on first thing starting with EZ... (moderator didn't allowed this)

I went on gluten free diet and now I need to watch what I eat because I will end up with mild constipation myself.

"Conclusions: The urinary iodine level was significantly lower in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis, and iodine replacement may be important in preventing osteoporosis"  Body iodine status in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis Low iodine can cause thyroid problems, but Iodine deficiency will not show up in thyroid tests.  Iodine is important for healing, its job is to kill off defective and aging cells (Apoptosis). Skin, brain fog, nails, muscle tone all inproved when I started taking 600 mcg (RDA 150 - 1000 mcg) of Liquid Iodine drops. Some with dermatitis herpetiformis, Iodine exacerbates the rash.  I started at 1 drop (50 mcg) and worked up to 12 drops, but I don't have dermatitis herpetiformis.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and I found myself giggling with happiness as I read how your body reached such spring! And I hope that your current journey is also successful!! Definitely starting the food diary! So many amazing advices. And it’s very scary. It really hits all our soft spots as well as our confidence system. Most doctors I went thought I was underage despite being in my late 20s. Right now I look like am I twelve, but is also this body that’s taking so much, so I might as well love it too! Going to make the necessary changes and stay in this path. Thank you again! 🫶

Thank you so much for the information and kind message! Reading this transformed how I’ve been viewing my efforts and progress. Guess there’s still a lot to celebrate and also heal 😌  Yes, I’ve been taking it! Just recently started taking a multivitamin supplement and separated vitamin D! I also took chewable Iron polymaltose for ferritin deficiency 2 months ago but was unable to absorb any of it.  Thank you again! Hearing such gentle words from the community makes my body and heart more patient and excited for the future.
