Until Kelloggs does a cost-benefit analysis that shows how having a gluten-free product will make them money they aren't going to do it is my bet.

General Mills is smart and forward thinking...I saw an article in, hmmm, was it the Wall Street Journal (?) in the last few months that laid out why GM is paying attention to the gluten-free market and changing the ingredients of some products and for others just updating labels. GM did their own research and found that of the population that is eating gluten-free about 80% HAVE TO eat gluten-free for medical reasons and will do so FOR LIFE. GM recognized that if they can build a loyal customer base with that population by having quality products and labels we can trust they will make $$ in the long term. They haven't rushed into it and are doing a lot of focus groups to make sure that the products they tinker with ingredient-wise still taste the same or close enough so gluten eaters will continue to eat them! I know I called GM at one point asking about an ingredient label and when the customer service rep found out I had questions about gluten due to having Celiac Disease she asked if I'd like to participate in any focus groups, try out new products, etc. I was stunned. I couldn't commit to it at the time but after our move is completed this summer I may just call them back and see if they still need participants!

I agree! If they could do it with the Rice Kripsies, why not the Corn Flakes?

I miss Corn Flakes. :(

I got hooked on the gluten-free Rice Krispies. I can make Krispy Treats and use them as bread crumbs in meatballs, and salmon patties. I think I go through at least 2 boxes a week?

My Kroger's has decided to quit cayying them. They're now at Bog Lots. I hope they don't stop making them. If they do..they probably won't bother tinkering with the Corn Flakes? :(

I doubt they will stop make the Rice Krispies, but I do not like them, at least not for a bowl of cereal, I used the the stale almost full box as crumbs for a coating of chicken. That was pretty good. But I do miss Corn Flakes too and Frosted Flakes. Still miss the Rice Krispies.

Chex Cereal cinnamon flavor is a lot like Cinnamon Toast Crunch --one of my favorites for snacking out of the box. If you have not had Cinnamon Toast Crunch for a while you will probably just love the Chex cinnamon flavor.

Chex makes 3 or 4 flavors of cereal that are gluten free.

Frosted Flakes are sickly anyways, I don't miss them at all

But there's no replacement for Corn Flakes. Even the Nature's Path Honey'd Corn Flake imitators is no match to the real thing!

So I've been dealing with chasing the name celiac because of my body actively dealing with health issues related to celiac though not eating. Diagnosed in 1994 before foods eliminated from diet. After 25 years with former pcp I googled celiac specialist and she wasn't because of what ive been through. I wanted my results to be sent to my pcp but nothing was sent.I have email copies.I did one zoom call with np with team member from celiac specialist in Nov 2025 and she asked me why I wanted to know why I wanted the celiac diagnosis so bad, I sad I don't, its my life and I need revalidaion because its affecting me.KB stated well it shows you are.I asked then why am I going through all this.I was labeled unruly. Its been a celiac circus and medical has caused anxiety and depression no fault to my own other than being born with bad genetics. How is it legal for medical professionals to gaslight patients that are with an ailment coming for help to be downplayed? KB put in my records that she personally spent 120min with me and I think the zoom call was discussing celiac 80 min ONE ZOOM call.SHE is responsible for not explaining to my pcp about celiac disease am I right?

I've noticed with my age and menopause my smell for bread gives me severe migraines and I know this. Its alarming that there are all these fabulous bakeries, sandwich places pizza places popping up in confined areas.Just the other day I suffered a migraine after I got done with my mri when a guy with a brown paper bag walk in front of me and I smelled that fresh dough bread with tuna, I got a migraine when we got home.I hate im that sensitive. Its alarming these places are popping up in airports as well.I just saw on the news that the airport ( can't remember which  one)was going to have a fabulous smelling bakery. Not for sensitive celiacs, this can alter their health during their travel which isn't safe. More awareness really NEEDS to be promoted, so much more than just a food consumption!FYI I did write to Stanislaus to let them know my thoughts on the medical field not knowing much about celiac and how it affects one.I also did message my gi the 3 specialist names that was given on previous post on questions on celiac. I pray its not on deaf door.
