  3. We've been living together for over five years. There's plenty of states where I can call him hubby! Not this one... but anyway. We tend to say hubby and wife, especially with strangers. Easier.
  4. I've seen 'pluots' in the store. Same thing? Hmmm..... Dindin last night was eggs and toast for hubby and chicken salad sammiches for me. He is out working in this 98 degree day, mowing lawns.   7. I love that pesto pizza. I discovered it when I was unable to eat tomatos for a year (travesty!) and fell in love with it. I put onion and sausage on top of it. The tomato sauce one is ok but just tastes like any regular pizza. That pesto one is just outstanding. I plan on trying to replicate it with chebe. Oh, I love Chebe..... Speaking of which, dinner...
  8. I had leftover chebe with leftover artichoke dip for dinner last night. Artichoke dip was a little too heavy on the artichoke, wound up eating the 'dip' around the big chunks. Still learnin!   9. Try the rectangle Glutino crackers. They have soy flour in them, don't know if that's a problem, but they are light and crispy and delicious. MY local HFS carries them, but I haven't seen them at Whole paycheck, so you might have to order online.

  12. I like Organic Food Bar, the protein one. It's not the BEST tasting one ever, but it's pretty good.
  13. I sliced and salted eggplant, let it sit a few hours. LAid out in two dishes, put a mix of shopped chicken, spices and cream cheese over both. Then a layer of half-cooked Tinkyada, then onions, then red sauce for one and alfredo for the other. Mozz on top of red sauce, bake 45-50 min. Haven't tried it yet, will let you know how it worked!
  14. I stick to Dagoba and Endangered species for chocolate bars, and Enjoy Life for chocolate chips. Enjoy Life chips have amazing flavor. They also make a shell quite nicely, when covering something like strawberries or pretzels.
  15. Keep this in mind- if he eats a sandwich, goes potty, and you two go foolin around later, the gluten proteins will still be on his skin. This is a problem with men that they don't often think of, especially if you've already checked your soaps and shampoos for gluten, they figure they're clean. They think they're clean but they've had their hands all over...

  17. I personally take two full days to feel a reaction, and my reactions last for a few weeks. It has definitely gotten less severe with time, I've also gotten better at avoiding gluten.
  18. Ok, a few suggestions. Your batter will need to be more fluid and wet than what you're used to. This will be a CAKE batter, not like bread.   19. You know, I have to agree with that. People tend to be a lot more sympathetic to vomiting, even if it's in the grocery checkout, than that stain on your pants...... And you ruin less clothes.
