    If the product is made in the US and it just says vinager by law it is supposed to be apple cider. It should be safe if it just says vinager. Also some distilled vinagers are derived from corn and wood, as someone who does have issues with distilled gluten grains I have never had an issue with distilled derived from those.

    I have DH and the use of gluten containing feminine products will give me very painful rashes and blisters. While the absorption through the mucous membranes may not effect the gut they will produce an antibody reaction and those of us who are subject to the neuro or joint effects of gluten can have symptoms result from mucous membrane contact.

    I totally agree with this. In addition gluten can be absorbed by and effect mucus membranes this includes in the mouth, eyes, nose and for us ladies the 'personal areas'.     I do not know for sure as I have never used or seen this product but many supplements are now checked for gluten and some companies are good about labeling, have you considered looking for one or two gluten free supplements that might give you the same levels of vitamins? It might be the safest way to go.

    I am a great fan of Kinnikinick, try their bread also, the Italian is real good. Just remember to zap it or toast it it improves the flavor and texture a great deal.     Within a few minutes if I have injested enough I will have the room jerk suddenly, it feels like I am falling but I am not. My tummy will start to rumble also in the first hour or so.     Great advice but I doubt that when someone is laying in front of a medic with parts of their bodies blown to pieces that they are going to have the time or resources to check for gluten.

    My son and I both react to gluten grain alcohols. Not everyone does. We become drunk much quicker and suffer the same after effects we do with a gluten food.     You may want to call the company directly and ask what form of distllled vinager they use. There are some of us that will react to gluten grain derived vinagers but since not all of us do even if they use a gluten vinager they may not consider it to be gluten.     I found out this the hard way also. The NIH has a database of nonfood item containing gluten, drywall is on that list as is the mud that is used to finish.     My son was in the Army with undiagnosed celiac. He was not diagnosed until after he had gone through way to much to disclose here.     Unfortunately that is the case for me. Ataxia and some other nerve damage are the only residual damage that I have now after 5 years gluten-free.     Simply put, no and no. Wheat free many times will still have barley or oats. Some consider oats okay but the processing of oats make them extrememly risky and most of us avoid them.

    Carmel coloring can be derived from barley. This product uses corn which isn't a problem but it is an ingredient that should trigger a phone call.
