ARCHIVED Laws Regarding Dog Neglect

Thanks Everyone Well things have changed thankfully. She called over here Monday night and said her 19 year old nephew pitched her dog's poop over her fence (very likely it could have been since we just saw the after effects) and she apologized and offered to clean it up but my husband took care of it, actually pitched on her side that day he noticed it... -
ARCHIVED Laws Regarding Dog Neglect

Thanks, She is off for the weekend now so I will report it next monday to the humane society. She is a barely new neighbor (two weeks) and already having problems with her. She is also pitching dog crap in our yard which irks my husband badly because she doesnt want it in her yard and we dont have any animals. I think its why she leaves him on a leash so... -
ARCHIVED Banquet Brown N Serve Sausage..is It gluten-free?
Glutenfreefamily replied to Kara'sMom's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
I hope she gains weight soon, it can take a while. Im going on two years and I dont think Im fully healed yet but I have had symptoms for decades and that makes a big difference. Check and see if there is a R.O.C.K. group (Raising our Celiac Kids) in your area, if not contact the local celiac sprue association and maybe you could have a get together... -

We have a new neighbor She has a cute little husky puppy. She leaves it outside all day long in a fenced yard while she is at work and trust me its cold up here in Michigan. He whines all day, it breaks my heart. They do have an overhang where he is at on pavement no blanket or anything for him with a very short chain. I peeked around the fence and... -

ARCHIVED Pain Relief For The Aging Dog
Glutenfreefamily replied to DingoGirl's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
My dog was on rimadyl, It worked great for him. From what I remember it wasnt too costly. It was the only thing that worked. Within a short time he had the spring in his step again which was a wonderful site to see as before he winced everytime he climbed on the couch. It was our miracle pill. Please check into the cost of it from another vet as each vet... -

Thanks very much for the responses We do have a tree up, an artificial one. Im sure it has dust on it. It fully breaks down and is stored in a rubbermaid trunk but Im sure it gets plenty of dust on it when its up. We do have our bedding covered but my 3 year old has quite a few stuffed animals that hold the dust and our carpet. Also my house is over... -

Thanks I know its not allergies this time although I constantly blame it on it at first since I hate being sick . My daughter became sick first with a fever of 103.6 and I became sick with a fever of 101 three days later. She is doing wonderfully and is basically back to normal, thank goodness, but my issues are still there after 7 days and now I... -
Im off to go to the dr tomorrow. Everytime I have come down with a cold it always has turned into an infection the last three years. I do have asthma and it seems that I just cant beat it on my own ever. I have such a short of breath feeling and of course my inhaler is empty as I forgot to refill it as I only use it on a as needed basis. Do you have...

Thank you Jenny Im fine now thankfully. Im sorry you have to live like that, it makes it very difficult to feel you cant touch anything in your home. I look at gluten like rat poison anymore. That is crazy that they didnt do an u/s on you! Xray is not going to show if your gallbladder is acting up. I would call the walk in doc and tell them how you were treated and if they cannot get the testing done make an appointment with your primary dr to thoroughly get it checked out. I never got anywhere with the ER either. Some insurances are a pain... -

ARCHIVED Small Rant
Glutenfreefamily replied to Glutenfreefamily's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
That would drive me nuts if they just laid out wheat bread on the counter, crumbs everywhere. I never lay food on the counter either. If I am making a sandwich I always put it on a plate or a paper towel, former is preferred unless I'm being lazy with dishes I hate to say this but I became much more sensitive when I hit the 2 year mark. I think it... -
ARCHIVED Need Help Finding Reason For Daughters Itching
Glutenfreefamily replied to jmomee99's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
My first thought was MRSA but this shouldnt be that if it completely goes away by morning. It would still be visible throughout the day. My second thought is bedbugs maybe, they are very easy to transfer and she might have gotten them from being on vacation or having someone spend the night or borrowing a article of clothing from a friend or relative.... -
