  1. where in PA amanda??
  2. has anyone found the gluten free betty crocker mixes in VA or MD??
  3. You shouldn't have to throw away your cookie cutters. Why not soak them in bleach or a cleaning agent so you can clean them and keep them around!! I didn't throw out mine and did this and still get to enjoy fun shaped cookies!
  4. my piece of advice is, if the blood test said no but a gluten-free diet made you feel better....go back on the gluten free diet!! you don't get the official "you have celiac disease" bumber sticker but you will feel better
  5. I've eaten there lots of times and never had a problem. Just make sure you keep an eye on them when they're putting the stuff on your plate, sometimes they try to throw the cornbread on top and you have to stop them!
  6. oh my goodness THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. So suddenly my board changed and doesn't show the replies to the topics, I have to click on each one individually and it's driving me nuts. Does anyone know how to fix it?
  8. I've had these breakfast sandwhichs, I got them at the Whole Foods in Fells Point (Baltimore). They weren't horrible.....they weren't like McDonald's either BUT I was so excited when I saw these in the store because I think it's amazing that these companys are attempting new ideas for us. I've been gluten free for 6 years and after awhile, you just get...
  9. I'm not sure if they have lists, I'm sure they do if you contacted them. I spent a lot of time in the Myrtle Beach area last year and they all were adding entire rows of Gluten-Free products!
  10. They both have gluten free options. As does Food Lion, which is around there!
  11. I think Bards is the best gluten-free beer that is on the market.
  12. Raisin. Please list what coffees are NOT gluten free, plain, regular non-flavored coffees. thanks! Also...if you're so concerned with the cross contaimination now that Smuckers bought Folgers (although I highly doubt they just bought the brand and not the entire plant that the coffee is manufactured in, thus meaning they probably won't change the...
  13. Don't be so quick to assume that since your stomach has been acting funky now that you're eating more yogurt that it's a gluten reaction. Yogurt is utilized to help bring good bacteria into your body to fight off the bad bacteria...that's why they make that digestive tract help yogurt now, because it's supposed to help get your body more regular. I can...
  14. a bean taco? you mean in the soft shell? I'm fairly certain none of these items are gluten free...cinnamom twists included. Taco Bell has a very limited list, their taco meat is not gluten free. Refriend beans are...one of their bowls are without the totilla crisps on it. But I think it's a place most gluten-free folks generally avoid..
  15. I'm sorry you're going through that. I went to Japan 2 years ago and felt like I could never eat out at all, especially since I didn't speak the language. I was there for 2 weeks and hated leaving the apartment, which doesn't make for the best tourist experience. Maybe there is someone on the board who is in Korea or from there that can help. But try...
  16. which is what I was basically trying to say but apparently didn't do a very good job!
  17. I'm not trying to be insensitive here....but if you're homeless do you really care about the fact that you're a celiac. I mean if you're homeless...wouldn't you be more concerned with just eating in general...I don't know. I thought about this once before when I was visiting Atlanta and saw a bunch of homeless people. I just think if I was homeless...I...
  18. the Atlanta Fish Market was pretty nice when I went there for dinner..it's not super upscale like the rest of them but it's a great atmosphere. Wildfire Restaurant at the Perimeter Mall is also a very nice atmosphere.
  19. They're better than most hoagie or hamburger buns that I've had but only if you toast them.....or if you have a toaster oven, that's the best. The texture still is annoying because they crumble a lot easier than normal rolls but they're definitely worth trying
  20. Sometimes Apples have that affect on people's stomach!
  21. Skky Vodka is advertised as being gluten free, it's derived from Corn. It says so on their website..you just have to search a bit for it
  22. Neither one of those items has any gluten in it. Unless you had the reese's minis...sometimes the snack size of candies are not gluten free. I'm not sure why this is though. Ziegler's Apple Cider is gluten-free though. Maybe it was something else that snuck into your diet?
  23. I've been on Yasmin for 5 years and when they automatically switched me over...I refused and pay the higher amount for the Yasmin. I figure, I'm not looking to switch from something that works until I speak directly with my doctor about it. Yasmin is going 100% generic but it'll take about a year for that to go full cycle. When I asked my pharmacist about...
  24. I'm removing the patch myself but I don't put my hands in my mouth after, or any where near my face. I go straight to the restroom and wash my hands and then use hand sanitizer after. I don't ever really have my hands in my mouth...I don't bite my nails or anything like that. I've been going over in my head what it could possibly be and I just can't come...
  25. No...that's not really possible. I guess it's just a strange coincidence..
