  2. I looked at a swatch of launch party that someone did over on the EM forum. Yeeow - that looks DARK! I definitely won't be using that one as a blush, but it will probably make a nice eyeshadow. I so hope my order comes soon. I have so many clothes with blue/teal in them and I am stoked for all the new colors. But I think I will need to get a bigger case...
  3. Ooh - I should NOT have stopped in here. Since reading all about Donna's fabulous new order, I am really ready for my order to be here, even though I only ordered in on Friday. Resisting the urget to flag down USPS trucks..... I can't believe I am going to have more than 50 eyeshadow colors.
  4. Unfortunately, in order to register results on the biopsy he has to be eating gluten. Otherwise you risk getting hin healed up enough to show healthy villi, when he actually does have celiac. I know it's hard, we had to do the same thing with my son. But if you want to go ahead with the scope/diagnosis (I highly recommend this, especially with children...
  5. I hate the way they have the shopping cart set up now - I can't figure out how to copy and paste my order over here, or even see what I ordered. . Going from memory, I ordered a mini eyeshadow kit with: Sunset voyage Plane View Starlit Happy Go Lucky Mistletoe Cliche Bubble Tea Bird Bath Chamomile Comfy I also got a mini custom...
  6. I wish the warn/box would go away. It feels like it is just lurking there. Watching me. Waiting for me to screw up. Waiting to POUNCE!!! Where is the scary movie music to go with it? Seriously, I wish it was gone.
  7. I just filled it out. Thanks for posting. Buying a safe gluten-free lunch has been one of the hilights of my son's school year this year.
  8. You are very kind to think to prepare gluten-free food for your visitor. Unfortunately, there are just too many nooks and crannies in your bread machine to prepare safe gluten-free bread in it. Flour gets on every surface on the inside and will contaminate the bread. In order to get it clean enough, you would probably ruin it. What bread mix did you buy...
  9. Schweet! I'll take 20% off! I am going to place my order tonight. Happy 6-month cult anniversary, everybody!
  10. I see it under my name also, but not on anyone else's. I think we can probably only see our own. What is it measuring? How many warnings we get? And if it gets to 100% then.........? How long does a warning last? Anybody can have a bad day now and again, and I'd hate to think that kind of thing follows one around forever.
  11. I called the phone number too. I know they say they are gluten-free, but the fact remains that I have a gluten reaction to them. Maybe there is no gluten in them, but whatever is in them acts exactly the same in my system. Since my only known intolerance is gluten, I don't know what else to think. Here are the ingredients. There is no...
  12. Open Original Shared Link makes a diet root beer that is sweetened with Splenda. Hope this helps.
  13. We spend about $300 - 350/month of our family of 5. Our house is totally gluten-free. I bake all of our cookies, bread, cakes, etc from scratch. It is getting harder to do, but I think we do a good job of keeping the costs down. When I was diagnosed nearly 3 years ago I was able to do it for about $250/month, but as things get more expensive and the kids...
  14. Be wary of the things that you hear from health food store employees. The people working there often have little knowledge on what has gluten and what doesn't and are apt to give you bogus information. Not saying that there aren't some knowledgeable people, but many of them are not. Gluten grains contain gluten, even if they are sprouted. If the sprouted...
  15. Hi, mstroud. Don't feel bad about venting, that's what we are all here for. My son is now 9, and he was diagnosed when he was 6. We keep a box of snacks in my son's classroom for unplanned food events, and his teacher emails me when there is a pizza party or something similar coming up so I can provide alternatives. His boy scout group has also been great...
  16. Hi, ladies! I haven't been on the forum for a week or two because things are really busy for me. Planting the garden and corraling the kids and new baby chicks for our chicken coop keeps me hopping! Can you ever forgive me, oh fellow makeup culties? Do you know our 6 month anniversary is coming up this week? I say we all take ourselves out to dinner...
  17. Open Original Shared Link works well. It is free of dairy and soy. Hope this helps.
  18. Besides Pamela's, our favorite pancake mix is the Kinnikinnick one. It is really delicious. Open Original Shared Link
  19. New special on the old site, but still no custom kits on the new site: I am going to order because the 2 eyeshadows in the special are the ones that I want most from the new site.
  20. Here is some information that may be of use to you. First some information on the IgG antibodies: Open Original Shared Link
  21. The latest comments on the EM site say that the custom kits are available. Some people can see them but some can't. Add me to the "can't" team. Can you guys see them? I refreshed my page abou a dozen times, but still no custom kits.
  22. Brown rice syrup often contains barley. For example, the Lundberg brand has always been safe, but there was a time when the brown rice syrup in Mrs. Mays products contained barley. You have to check on it to be safe. Open Original Shared Link
  23. Thanks for the heads up. We went to their last tasting fair. We ate so much we were sick! I will definitely try to make it there this weekend.
  24. Peanut Butter Puffins are not gluten-free. They contain mainstream oats that are contaminated with wheat in growing/storing/processing. Open Original Shared Link The only Puffins flavor that is made without gluten ingredientsis the Open Original Shared Linkflavor. It is still made on shared lines, though. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...
  25. Xanthan does not require refrigeration, but it does need to be kept free of moisture. It has an infinite shelf life if kept dry. I store mine in pint-sized canning jars. Then I just keep one at a time in my kitchen with the rest in my food storage room. Thanks for the link to Barry Farms. Looks like they don't have it in bulk, but only...
