  1. Congratulations, Molly! good luck on your test, too!
  2. My brother and I were both sick from infancy. Not everyone has a trigger. If a person goes their whole life or even a few months without gluten they will have a reaction to eating it just as a person who does not eat meat would have if they started eating animals. Good luck finding a doctor for your son, Cassidy.
  3. I do not eat Frito-Lay products because I have had reactions to them in the past, AmandaD.
  4. Celiacs cannot have anything malt, Keri.
  5. I love bananas, too, ReneCox.
  6. Just click your user name and there you can see your posts and topics, Cottage_Soul.
  7. Here is one more: Open Original Shared Link.
  8. I was (and still am) suprised! I like their nail polish.
  9. This link might help, MGoers73, https://www.celiac.com/st_prod.html?p_prodi...-09107095291.5a. Do not eat wheat, barley, rye, oats, gluten, and be wary of (modified) food startch because it could possibly be wheat unless you know the product is gluten-free or says that it's gluten-free.
  10. I e-mailed Wet'n'Wild to ask about gluten and animal testing and I got an e-mail back. She said that the only product containing gluten is #890 Megawink Mascara and that they do not test on animals!
  11. Down there in the inner harbour most places should be able to make something for you (sea food is big) and I know there is an Outback and a Mexican place that have gluten-free menus. Enjoy the city, AmyBeth- it's fabulous.
  12. You might want to find some longer plastic gloves, work as far away from people as you can, and maybe let your classmates know that you have a skin reaction to gluten. Good luck, PinkTulip.
  13. As long as Billy keeps in mind to only eat his food (it's hard to remember right away) and to wash his hands a lot/wear gloves and not touch his mouth while working he should be fine. If his co-workers/teachers/classmates know of his Celiac Disease and are helpful they can help make sure he does not get sick, too, by not offering him gluten food and just...
  14. What exactly are you worried about? For the labs you should not need to ingest anything, right? You should be fine wearing gloves and being careful- making sure not to touch your mouth. Make sure to wash your hands well and all. Your Celiac Disease should not be a probem just like being at a restaurant or preparing meals for non-Celiacs with wheat is...
  15. Soups and desserts is something I always look for. I would especially love to see creamy gluten-free vegan soups.
  16. Good for you for not listening to her. Some doctors do not want to look at the results from actually living on the diet but rather what their tests say, so, you know she feels better gluten-free and that's that.
  17. Thank you so much, Tiffany.
  18. Has anyone else eaten this product? I couldn't get but a few spoonfulls in before I gave up. Mine was way too hot! I do not know if I did something wrong but I do not think so.
  19. I am watching ABC's Men In Trees and Mai made some gluten-free dumplings for Ben! I was all excited to see that, ha!
  20. Good luck, Lisa.
  21. This thread might help you, DebS, Open Original Shared Link.
  22. How interesting.
  23. You might have food allergies, ShopGrlStacy, like to corn, soy, or casein.
