  1. I guess the most unusual concoction that I eat is my mom's "Newfie Dinner". Consists of cabbage, carrots, potatoes, turnip all boiled in a huge pot along with salt beef (or sometimes ham). Trust me, it grows on you....... Not that tasty, but sure as heck good for ya! Hugs. Karen
  2. My Lord, Michael, you're back! I even posted a thread if anyone knew where you had gone to! Welcome back! Karen
  3. If the newbies need any more proof that we will discuss just about ANYTHING, all they need to do is check out this thread!!!! Karen
  4. That's how I eat my fries too! But it HAS to be Hellmans... Hubby thinks it's TOTALLY gross, BTW........ LOL! How come just "before going gluten-free"? Doritos Ranch chips are gluten free, as are several brands of cottage cheese - why not continue to "partake"? Hugs. Karen
  5. Hey Debmidge! How goes it??? Same thing happens here, not only with me, but with the kids. Whenever the kids drink blue KoolAid, guess what colour the BMs are the next day? A nice blue/green hue....... LOL! Hugs! Karen
  6. That is hilarious, Lisa!!!! Hugs. Karen
  7. I don't have a problem with onions. Now mushrooms are a different story. Anyone have a food come out looking EXACTLY the same as the way it did when it went in? Karen
  8. Ask your mother if she would pour sugar down your throat if you were a diabetic......... Sheesh! Mothers! Good Luck! (from someone who was previously in your shoes until my Mom FINALLY figured out she couldn't interfere anymore!) Hugs! Karen

  14. Just wanted to mention that this thread is 1 1/2 years old! Don't worry, I have been free of chewable Gas-X tablets since that fateful day...... Hugs! Karen
  15. Tymber would look soo cute in the gluten T-shirt! Hugs. Karen
  16. I too was diagnosed with endometriosis in my early 20's. I was told at the time that I would have a 50/50 chance of ever being able to have children. Well, I guess I proved him wrong (see signature!) When I had my last physical, the doctor said I had an enlarged uterine wall (not endo, but something else, I forgot the name she used....) She said we would...
  17. I clench my teeth ALOT during the day, not even realizing I am doing it at the time. I grind my teeth at night..... I don't think it's associated with celiac though...... Karen
  18. Floridanative, On the top of this thread where it says "Options", click on that and just e-mail this whole thread to her..... That would be the best way to get the message across to her.... Sheesh! Some doctors.... Karen

(I ALWAYS check for Kraft first...
  21. Hey! I was just watching Global TV and the immunologist that I am seeing (I go back for more testing the end of March) was just on TV. He's a researcher who apparently has made a new discovery in regards to peanut allergies. He has discovered that the 15 people who have died from peanut allergies within (I think they said) the last 5 years, they all...
