  4. Once you have time completely gluten-free the fog WILL lift. I know it seems as though it will not, but it will. If time gluten-free does not improve your health it will be time to look to other possible intolerances. I lost my career to undiagnosed Celiac Disease -- you are diagnosed -- you can salvage yours before it is too late. Hang in there ...

    ARCHIVED Eggs?

I had been able to eat any eggs -- the lectin content is my problem -- it has NOTHING to do with gluten. Eggs are a wonderful food and should not be given up without a trial -- and if you fail a solid trial then you should trial each egg yolk and egg white. I'll have them back in my diet just as soon as possible.

I loved Lamb until one of my dogs absolutely freaked on the BBQ like we were cooking his best friend -- was so bad we had to pull the lamb chops off the q and finish in the house -- that was years ago and I haven't purchased lamb in years. 20. Sorry - normal IgA level has nothing to do with Celiac Disease - it only indicates you are likely to make the antibodies tested for in the celiac panel. Some folks have low IgA - in this case celiac antibody tests are not accurate. Hope that's clear - on my cell I often don't word things as clearly as I do with a comp screen in front of me. Get...
  21. Please do not be sad. Knowing the extent of damage will be come a very good thing to have as you heal. If you haven't had follow up blood work - get it soon - this will likely be much improved - even if not perfect yet. If you are not sensitive to cc or accidental gluten exposure - the DGP can let you know if you need to look for possible exposure...
  22. It looks like you are missing some numbers for the deamidated gliadin peptide result and that your Total Serum IgA is normal - the total IgA is not one of the celiac antibody tests - it is important but only to be sure you have sufficient IgA for the antibody tests to be as accurate as possible. Take a look and try to type everything on the result page...
  23. Don't worry yet - depending on your original damage it can take a very long time to heal. Schedule a follow up endo at a year gluten-free - it is way to early to think Refractory Celiac Disease. Have your antibodies improve during this time gluten-free? Have you had any symptoms improve? We all heal and improve at different rates. Hang in there!
