  2. 100% of all peeps exposed to water will die...roflmao         That is funny stuff, right there...I do believe I'll be stealing that line very soon I am so happy to have a line to counter one of hubs favorites "Life causes Death."
  3. "Bippity Boppity Bacon!!!" Just wanted to see the dude dance more
  4. No real recipe....just throw big bunch of cilantro OR basil in the blender with a couple cloves of garlic or some scallions with some salt and sugar (sometimes I use sugar, sometimes agave) to taste....makes all those same foods taste different Used to use olive oil in it....sometimes still do, sometimes I just thin with a little water or cream. Clear...
  5. Happy 90th Birthday Irish's Pop! I made a wish along with a small toast last night for a birthday angel to make my sick pup better today....hubs is up and eating...asked and answered. Guess I have the first toast ready for this evening. "Thanks Coach" Zoodles with Cilantro Garlic Sauce sound like an excellent idea to go with the wine
  6. Hubs birthday ... Unfortunately he is one sick pup for the past five days...doc sent him to ER yesterday to rule out meningitis ... They ruled out bacterial, but think viral is likely....thankfully viral is the type you want IF you ever have to get either. Birthday dinner and cake will be postponed...hopefully he'll be able to enjoy by Father's Day. I...
  7. Great memory Laura and a good poop story. So many of our smelly stories are funny after a bit of time and distance
  8. Lmao...just had a visit from my kids, kidlets and their two dogs...great dogs, but the youngest somehow forgot the way to the back yard...doh! Been a long time since I stepped in poop ... Um don't think I ever have in the house .. Now where is that cute vomit dude when I need him?
  9. I agree with Karen. If a person has Celiac Disease, these would be possible signs of accidental glutening. I know you asked us to stay on topic...but please take him to a doctor or ER -- I have lost too many friends when symptoms of heart issues were dismissed. Take care
  10. Whew....kids and kidlets off. Daughter and grands flew to their new home in Ohio yesterday. My youngest man just headed out with his brother-in-law for a 2400 mile adventure from California to Ohio I see I have some catching up to do: Fudge freezes -- when I make -- I wrap half of the double batch in foil then put in a ziploc -- freezes great and...
  11. No....the cauliflower crust recipe you posted...the changes were less egg and any cheese .. Cream cheese has worked for me.
  12. But wouldn't mind seeing ads for ski resorts pop up on my feed
  13. Yesterday sucked...pain wise...thankfully the kids arrival got delayed so tonight we will have KFG Rosemary Chicken, Smashed Potatoes/Sweet Potato and Broccoli with cheesy sauce. Something yummy for dessert, thinking the Lemon "brownies" sound easy....I am all about the 'easy button' today. Happy Friday Dinner Peeps :3
  14. Snow Snow Snow
  15. L here, not K....but yep it is that simple....viola
  16. Hubs made one of his wonderful stir frys I've been puttering....well cleaning like a mad woman is more like...kids and grands arrive tomorrow for a week before they move to Ohio! Great move and a much better life ahead there for them....thankful Southwest has pretty good fares Tomorrow doing the full chicken breasts layered with herbs in KFG.....
  17. Jaws is playing at the son's theater tonight...they show old movies one a week...saw it the first time when I was eight in upstate New York .... Remembering not wanting to come home because that meant getting back in the water!!!! So dinner is simple spaghetti for the men. Broth with some meat and veggies for me...guess that would make it soup? A bit...
  18. Yep....this sucks.....yet? I am not being preachy....this comes from years of teen and young adult kid experience... dude! Turn it to your advantage.....girls....for better or worse are interested in what the gluten free diet can do for them. Arm yourself with knowledge..........need help, then ask. We will always help.
  19. I like the ones in the cute pails -- I think they are made by cutter...Target and Walmart carry. I keep the lid to snuff it without having to deal with the smoke...another issue for me
  20. I can't use bug spray....I've got citronella candle by the pool and on my patio...hubs hates...oh well Ps...I've found those really pesky/weird placed bites come from bath/shower time or my favorite...I stick one leg out from under the covers to regulate my sleep temp and darned if I don't get bit on the exposed leg!
  21. We use our mandolin daily and my old food processor for huge slicing or spreading jobs....like making cauliflower rice for a crowd or when I make veggie soup I make huge batches and freeze. My foos processor is a hand-me down from a friends grandma...is ridiculously heavy but works great and makes almond butter like a champ! Took a bit of cleaning when...
  22. Yummy.... Upon more thought...I will be using the crock pot brûlée recipe without the crock as I need to make eight custard cups next time. Tonight is steak and trater tot cheesy casserole of some sort...along with a mix of roasted veggies for me.
  23. PS...on the Crock Pot Creme Brulee Here is the recipe Irish found a few weeks back: http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/2008/02/crockpot-crme-brulee-recipe.html Had a thought after I posted last night...if you can get custard cups to fit in your crock...that would be a far superior way to serve so as everyone gets to crack through their own carmelized...
  24. Crock Pot Creme Brûlée is a winner...hardest part was finding good dish to use in the crock...since I did that last week, this morning was easy. Will cook a tad longer next round....just hard to be specific with time because of variations in crock size, quantity of water, etc..but everyone enjoyed even though I thought it should have been more firm. ...
  25. Oldest son had gotten thrush with cold bugs his entire life -- pre gluten removal -- now it is very rare -- can't remember the last time it happened to him...this month is his five year anniversary In my experience -- no matter which decade I was living -- when joints are in pain it is time to take it easy on exercise...that doesn't mean stop...just...
