    No. My guess is her symptoms will return in time if she was NCGI or Celiac Disease -- there are those diagnosed with Celilac Disease that have no gastro reaction to gluten ingestion -- also she was gluten-free for long enough to heal damage to her small intestine (if there was damage) and it may take some time for the damage to return which will bring...

    Two of us in my family can't eat gluten-free Oats right now -- hope to get them back one day soon. Four of us can.

    Just an update to amazon's subscribe and save program...originally it was an automatic extra 15% savings off their already low prices on gluten-free items -- as long as you are willing to purchase 4, 6 or 12 packs of things. Then it changed to 5% auto savings...I just realized if you have 5 subscribe and save items ship in the same month they all receive...

    Anyone remember the old make the high school girls carry around a ten pound bag of flour or sugar for a day to get the message across that teenage pregnancy aint as cute as it looks??? I propose all journalists that wish to discuss food allergies and or any "gluten people" issue MUST order and eat completely gluten free / nut free in every every restaurant...

    It can be genetic -- I have a friend that went white in his 20s...he remains the picture of health in every way. just saying for me...seems it was an indication of malabsorption

    herb sale at my favorite nursery today...hope they have pineapple mint...will check their seed supply too as i do most herbs from seeds. summer project has been handed to my boys -- repurposing wood pallets into raised planter beds....me thinks I may get artistic and paint a few shrooms on the side of them as Neroli helped plan my future vegi-garden ...

    I have gone prematurely gray twice!!! Once in my early 40s prior to diagnosis -- the graying slowed about 2.5 years gluten-free (timing of my complete elimination diet) --- sadly I had a few very bad autoimmune flares during years 3-4 and I went nearly gray --- Good NEWs -- I haven't had to dye my roots in over three months and I have only a few grays...

    I think I must have missed something...I would never suggest eating a whole bag of processed chips every day.

    Potato Chips are awesome! Until I get Potato and Sunflower Oil back...I make sweet potato chips and fries regularly... Salty chips are my absolute favorite late night snack -- ya, I know tis not good for me...but heck neither is the ice cream my hubs craves late at night!

    This makes sense to me....as there is no way a Replicator will ever match L2T's culinary skill Even if you are not a science fiction fan....young JT Kirk would make a fantastic addition to our staff!

    Welcome Back!!! Very sorry to hear your friend is dismissing the positive blood tests -- my guess is she will regret returning to eating gluten -- hope it is sooner rather than before irreparable damage happens. My advice for you is continue living your own gluten-free life -- take care of yourself -- maybe hang out here as there are many of us that...

    Hi ABQ-- I agree with what others have said above....thought I'd add if you want a good giggle...go back and read what some of us were posting our first months gluten-free -- we all stomped our feet threw a few pity parties and were at times pretty darn grumbly nearly all posts on this site come from a place of wanting to help others get through...
