    Yep those codes are often silly. I have "allergy" to "gluten meal" in my chart as that was the only way the doc could figure out to code my medical record to note I should have NO GLUTEN -- you seem ready for your appointment and think it bodes well that your new doctor did not dismiss your issues.

    Same as bacon candy....just plain old bacon in the oven -- 350 for 20 mins....son has been getting off work at 230am and baking bacon -- two mornings this past week I have woken to foil covered cookie sheets with only bacon fat remaining Going have to stock a few other easy snacks for him -- certainly don't want to impede the work thing

    Might be of comfort to know... The DGP - both IgA and IgG antibodies are the first to react to gluten...as in if you were off gluten for a while and then back on...these Gliadin Peptide antibodies are the most likely to be reflected in blood tests.

    On the pet food issue....during one of my brain fogginess eras my cat was drinking out of my water glass..she loves to play in any standing water...as in dip her paw that she also used to play with her then gluten filled food....I was so brain dead I didn't even notice her doing this....when I did I felt pretty darn stoopid...your pets can eat gluten...but...

    While it is costly....most endoscopies are painless. Ive had four and was very nervous for the first one. They will give you meds--- for me I get really sleepy and don't remember much of the procedure...make sure the hubs asks the doctor to explain what he saw ... often this conversation is more detailed than the procedural report and you will likely not...

    Ok...there is a way to mess up the easy upside down cake..... use round cake pans that have a bottom that is removable -- doh! at least my kitchen smells like carmel this morning -- not going to be fun to clean out the oven -- will have to wait until later -- off to cram a bit more and play taxi driver.     Thanks Irish! Will check out the crock pot recipes...son a bit in the dumps as the girlfriend hurt him a bit today. Sooo....I am using the last two fresh pineapples to make four rounds of pineapple upsidedown cake...figure cake for breakfast during finals week may help take the sting outta the girlie's drama

    I agree....you are a bit nervous and over-thinking this. If she likes you and also has some knowledge of gluten already from a family member...sounds like a great choice. My son's girlfriend carries digestive enzymes and charcoal in her purse for him -- since they have been dating he does eat a fry or two at these types of restaurants if he feels safe ...
