It is very hard to accept.... Make sure... -

Many companies now have gluten-free plants or buildings to process only gluten-free . ARCHIVED Gluten Reintroduction ... Your Personal Story Or Advice?
mamaw replied to gf family 2011's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
It's really hard to say if its a flu bug or gluten. I will suggest that you put the child back on wheat products & do the proper testing so you know....the reason I say this is that in the near future the child will be attending school. For the school to be permitted or willing to feed the child gluten-free under the disabilities act they will need the... -
Years & years & years ago gluten was on envelopes(glue part) but you are pretty safe now days. But my thought on licking envelopes is who would want to put that in their mouth when they are not sure what was on the machine processing that envelope!*!*!* I'm fairly sure it is not a sterile place that I would feel comfortable with putting in my mouth...

ARCHIVED I Have No Idea Where To Start.
mamaw replied to cbs011's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
You could start with a endo with at least three biopsies. The celiac bloodwork...Stay on wheat & gluten or the testing will not be accurate.... You could be just gluten sensitive& not have celiac disease where a person has damge to their villi... That's a good thing ......in the end either way the only help for either illness is a full gluten-free...
