  1. Not all of clinique makeup is gluten free they could not guarantee me and the stuff I had it had gluten in it so i threw it out. Oil of Olay may have gluten free products but they told me they purchase scents from outside suppliers so they could not guarantee me anything. I use Dove products...they will not hide wheat, rye, barley,or oats in their products...
  2. Distilled vinegar is ok for celiacs and anything kraft is ok as long as it doesn't say wheat, rye, barley,or oats. Kraft will clearly list those things
  3. jknnej-QVC offers kits with their products so if you go to their site they have a whole thing for the bare escentuals brand. You can go to bareescentuals.com to learn more about their products. Also, you can look up kits on ebay but make sure they are new and sealed. I got some good deals from off of their. I love this brand.
  4. There are some covergirl, maybelline, and neutrogena products that are gluten free as well. I know bare escentuals is on the high side price wise. Hope you find what you are looking for
  5. I think I am going to go too my parents seem interested in taking me but I'm not 100% sure if I'm going yet. I hope to
  6. People with autoimmune problems tend to have weaker immune systems. When I have the flu I usually only get nausea and vomiting, fatigue and chills/fever unless its the head flu then I get congestion, sore throat and all that stuff. When I accidentally gluten myself I get nausea mainly (no vomiting or runs), anxiety, and occasional chills . I can pretty much...
  7. I don't know if your allergy will go away. I do know some people that have had allergies be able to have them again. I had a dairy allergy on and off my whole life and now I have no problems with it at all. It is definately possible I think it depends on the person and depends on the allergy as well.
  8. abby82-Classic,Ruffles, and Staxx are made on gluten free lines now is what I have heard from various sources and I haven't got sick from them either and I am very sensitive to them so I consider them safe. Richard also has said that from a Lay's dietician he heard they were also on a dedicated line and that is not the first time I have heard that. On the...
  9. Distilled Vinegar is ok for celiacs
  10. I, as well, do not react to these chips. They have some chips on a dedicated gluten-free line as well. Could there be a possibility of something else in the chips causing a reaction other then a gluten reaction that just everybody does not react to such as MSG(found in alot of chips) or stuff like that? It is concerning to see so many people reacting to these...
  11. I use gluten-free deoderant. All my products are gluten free because I would rather be safe then sick. I mean its easy to get on your hands(when putting it on, etc.) and then over to the food. I just won't risk it...I have got sick many times off of products that ended up getting small amounts of gluten into my system.
  12. The chips are manufactured in the same facility as gluten containing products. They throughly wash in between though. There is a risk for cross contamination. Last time that I checked there were certain chips actually made on a dedicated gluten-free line. If you had a reaction though do not eat them. I can have the chips with no problem at all and I am very...
  13. Post is made by Kraft. All of Kraft foods will not hide any gluten in their products . Unless the labels say wheat, rye, barley, or oats then Kraft is safe to have. There is alot of stuff we can have even at regular stores...its a matter of learning the things we can and can't have. If you need help PM me or something and I can help you with a list.
  14. Yea I do know people that have reacted to them. They are produced in the same lines as gluten containing products so there is a risk for cross contamination. I personally eat their products and have not got sick off of them and I am very sensitive to small amounts of gluten but other people have reacted and if you get sick don't eat them.
  15. I personally would not get back on gluten for a test. If I have had positive results on the diet like in your case I would go with that but this is everyone's own personal decision. It depends if you want an official dignosis or not. Well if you were off of gluten that's why it was coming back negative. Biopsies and blood tests require you to be on gluten...
  16. Medaka is right mono could have triggered it. Mono is what triggered my celiac to activate and my symptoms got worse for 2 years until I was diagnosed. You could have had a silent case over the years. You should at least be checked for it.
  17. If it says gluten free it will not have wheat in it. Gluten is found in wheat. I eat those envirokidz cereals all the time. I like that brand alot. Could there be something else that you are sensitive to?
  18. Celiac can be triggered at any point in life. I had a very healthy childhood and then mono was the trigger point for me. Celiac can be triggered by childbirth, pregnancy, surgery, stress, viral infection, etc. You do not have to lose weight with celiac. There are over 200 symptoms that can come with it and every person is different. Not everyone even gets symptoms...
  19. When I get up too fast or am low on food I will get dizzy and have a black out for a few seconds so i usually have to stand right where I am till it goes away. I have never had this outside of my house though and it doesn't happen to often. My blood pressure tends to be on the low side and I was told that what happens to be is a result of low blood pressure...
  20. If one of your meds is not gluten free that can be causing a reaction. The tiniest bit can cause damage to your intestine whether you feel it or not. Also, don't expect all the symptoms to go away overnight. It took me a few months to get feeling much better. Some people can feel better quick but for some people it takes longer. But you are not going to get...
  21. Thats one incredible list...It's amazing that one thing can cause so many symptoms.
  22. Nausea was my main symptom before going gluten-free. When I accidentally ingest gluten I get nauseaous but for the most part it had gotten 99.9% better. It does take time though. For some people it takes longer to feel better. When you first start the diet many things slip in at first because you don't know all the stuff gluten is hidden under. I had that...
  23. Chebe makes some good bread and pizza mixes. They offer quite a bit. Open Original Shared Link I also use Kinnikinnick they are good as well.
  24. John Frieda can't guarantee any of their products to be gluten free. I emailed them about 2 products 2 weeks ago. Tom of Maines...most of their stuff is gluten free but there are some products that are not gluten free. I have a list if you would like that. I use Dove shampoos and soaps and hairsprays...they will not hide anything in their line. I use Crest...
