  1. Marilyn: Do you have to use chickpea flour? I'm wondering if another flour -- like millet or amaranth might work. I don't recall seeing chickpea flour in any of the stores around here.
  2. Caribou coffee is pretty darn good. I got their Mahogany blend which is very dark and delicious. But perhaps the lighter blend someone mentioned is a good start! Very good.

  4. Nope. And I'm wondering if perhaps something you are eating to give you energy before hand might be causing it? I only bloat (this is just me, of course) when I eat gluten. Give your foods another check, the pans you use, the utensils, etc.

  7. Wow. I can certainly understand your frustration. It may be the restaurants you are frequenting, as there are several in my area that are wonderful about it, and very careful. Be sure to let those restaurants know about it, especially PF Changs. They advertise to gluten free communities, and that sort of "accident" is outrageous. I can't speak to it...
