  2. These? Open Original Shared Link I looked at the flatbread but it didn't have the ingredients.
  3. Here is a filling idea. Open Original Shared Link
  4. I know there are forums for corn sensitive people, maybe they have a better idea of how to avoid corn in a restaurant?
  5. Not skipping just thinking. We have had them. They are fine. Not fabulous. If you put enough toppings on them, they will be good. If you want less toppings and a more bready crust, you might not like them. We liked the Kinnickick crusts better. It's all a personal preference.
  6. I would suggest you get info from reliable sources so you don't waste money. Insurance should pay to test all first degree relatives of a person with Celiac. Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link
  7. There is no reason red dye is not gluten free. Sometimes people, with or without Celiac, have found they have a reaction to certain color dyes. Is there anything different about the red one other than dye? Did they use a different sugar substitute?
  8. Its sleeting and snowing here! Forutnately, the lacrosse game has been cancelled. So... tortilla soup for dinner - I add chicken, corn & black beans to maek it more of a meal.

I have friended? some Celiac sites. I share them on my FB so everyone has to see them.
  10. A positive number in reputation means someone " liked" your post by pushing the up arrow. This is a function that isn't used much on here. If you have been a member for a while, The " reputation points" were different before the " Upgrade" and you could have some left- over points. What you worry about are warning points. If you didn't follow the rules...
  11. Many many of us use McCormicks spices with great success.
  12. This is a website for an actual real medical center that treats and studies Celiac Disease. Maybe you could print a few things and show the doctor? A doc should find it reliable. Open Original Shared Link
  13. Just remember that treats done on a gluten free diet may be negative. If you aren't making the antibodies, there are none to find. Never seen a brown sugar, vanilla or baking soda or powder with gluten. But they like to put gluten-free on them.
  14. If you had been on here when this new pizza came out, you would have seen that Dominos announced that it is not for Celiacs. And all the fuss that went with it! You may be lucky and have a store that will be careful, use fresh cutting tools & toppings from the fridge, etc.
  15. Yes, barley has gluten in it. But this sounds like the OP was happily eating wheat products and tried a big bunch of barley. This is when the issue occurred. This makes me think it may just be barley.
  16. Food should be cleared thru the system in 24 hours. Obviously, if you are constipated, it might take a little longer. It is possible to be allergic to barley. So this could just be a barley issue. Barley isn't in a lot of foods. It is labelled soemtimes as "malt" usually in a sweet item or its a grain in a bread or soup.
  17. Does this happen with other websites? It sounds like when we had a virus in our computer.
  18. Not sure if this will be good, but the price is right! " One of the most popular requests for an NFCA Webinar is how to maintain a healthy gluten-free diet while not breaking the bank. Join NFCA during Celiac Awareness Month as we share money-savvy grocery tips and provide a list of go-to healthy gluten-free recipes with the help of Kathleen Reale"...
  19. This means they want money for food or Dad to take them to this bar with pool tables and steak sandwiches.
  20. Report back after your trips! PLEEEEEEZE?
  21. Too cute! Actually not much different at my house - 17 & 20 yr olds - "Dad, can we go out for gluten food?"
  22. Blame it on the damage your pregnancies/ births did. Or your hub. I never had grey hair until I married my hub! I did have a little before I had kids, so I blame it on hub. Tripping, etc can be blamed on the dog or cat. They scoot away so quickly.... Don't have a pet? The blasted neighborhood dog ran in the door!
  23. I know...most moms go thru every child's name, the pets' names and the next door neighbor kids names before getting the right kid! We just like to blame it on Celiac rather than old age or drinking!
  24. Please note you are responding to a 5 year old thread.
