    ARCHIVED Panera Bread

I think the reliable way to find out about the chicken is to ask Panera. Maybe check thier website and ask at the shop? If they don't know, then don't eat it.
  2. Some people get mad when they don't get a response from the OP. Then they PM me and tell me how rude everyone is for not thanking them or answering them.
  3. The post you are responding to is 7 years old.
  4. FYI The post you are responding to is 6 years old. Poster probably hasn't been on here in years.
  5. Mine is that way about money, too! I'm glad he is paying attention to his mom!
  6. How is the fuzzy guy's foot today? I like hearing about the chickens. I never knew they could have so much personality.

    ARCHIVED Banana Flour

Have you tried it, Ken? Sounds great!
  8. You can always order things. I live in KC. Walmarts have a small selection of crackers, pastas, and baking flours. Most groceries have the Betty Crocker mixes. Some of the groceries have Udis in the freezer. You are close to Rolla and that's a college town so they may have a nice health food place with gluten-free bread.
  9. Those look yummy. I'll look for them. They have a ginger one that is not gluten-free according to the website - has soy sauce
  10. Yes and vice a versa. My kids mess up my texting by calling! Or I am calling them and they text me. I get confuded easily.
  11. Do you eat mushrooms? They are a fungus grown on dead and decaying things. I saw a show talking about Xantham gum the other day that said the spores live an veggies, naturally, so you probably eat some with out realizing it.
  12. I second what Richard said. I use many different brands. I suppose its possible to have "malt vinegar" used in one, but it will be labelled. The other thing to look for are the "Asian" types that have soy sauce. Should list the ingredients of the soy sauce - "soy sauce (soy, wheat, water...)"
  13. Happy birthday! Irish! Give me back my margarita!
  14. I don't know why they would put a large molecule like a gluten protein into your spinal cord or your veins. I would think it would cause blood clots. Who told you they have gluten? what does the anethesiologist that will administer it say? Maybe she/he could tell you the company that makes it and you could call them for reassurance.
  15. I have never seen an apple juice with gluten in it.
  16. Saw this about a competely gluten-free place. Employees aren't allowed to eat gluten in the place. Wish I lived in Phillie. Open Original Shared Link
  17. Some of it is for feeding animals, too. The soy here looks good from the street. Nice and green still. Maybe I'll get out and see if we have beans. Last year the corn in Ks fried but the sorghum did really well. I have heard some farmers switched to sorghum for this year.
  18. Corn crops are fried. I imagine that will have a big impact on food costs.too.
  19. In then upper right corner, is a google search. Use budget or cheap. There should be quite a few. A few I found:
  20. I'm wondering, if you are that ill. maybe your insurance or Medicaid would pay for some household help? What have you been eating? There are simple things that are gluten-free. Beans and rice, chicken and rice, hamburger without bun, frozen or canned veggies and fruit, cheese, yogurt, Chex cereal, etc. Make a bunch at once to eat all week. Put it...
  21. The root beer is gluten-free. Even if you ate at this restarant before,it seems likely you got cc'd from the food. Or do you usually drink full sugar soda with no problems? Because it could be many other things. Sometimes its hard to know. If you are new to gluten-free, you need some time to heal before you chance eating out. In the beginning, anything...
  22. At the risk of Love fainting again... I had some God Awful pasta sauce made mainly with V8 juice. 30 years later, I still shudder at the thought! (insert green barfy guy here).
  23. You can still make burgers. Udis have buns that are good. I prefer mine without a bun.
  24. That's great! Even if you can't eat much corn it would make life easier
