  1. He does have a pained expression on his face. Coop isn't too smart to wear a hat, he's too dumb. His poor muddled brain.
  2. To sleep or feel secure. Sometimes the litter box is the only place to hide when its scary or we are bothering them (loud music & dancing, things flying, etc). We don't want them always hiding or they don't become social. I don't know if that is why he isn't using the box or not but its a thought.
  3. For the work partys, talk to the person who organizes them. Maybe you could suggest something everyone could eat, like ice cream sundaes. Just be sure they don't get cookies & cream & suggest the gluten-free toppings. Maybe microwave popcorn and sodas. Or suck it up and bring your own.
  4. Wow! I go to the dental sadist and all kinds of things come up I remember my bun, Flopsy, doing that. He only liked the litter boxes with the high curving in sides. A flatter one would not do. And his out of the cage box had to be in the corner behind the couch. Your bun is so young, maybe he needs a hiding place. Just a sort of shelf like thingy...
  5. Cooper will not cooperate with the hat contest. I tried to explain about the fabulous prizes, status, fame & fluffy white groupies that come with winning. To no avail! Perhaps one of the boys?
  6. Goodnight everybody! Goodnight moon!
  7. Jess- how ecological of you. I am working on a wine box right now but it won't be ready by Wed night. Etta/ Laura- if you google map my house you get my next door neighbors house, complete with a clear view of one of her cars' liscense plates. Apparently the cloaking device was on when they came by to take pics.
  8. Funny for you! He is scared of the wooden floors & staircase. He will stop in the middle of the floor, petrified. I made my carpeted stairs wood because it's sooo much easier than trying to vacuum the dog hair. I am going to have to put a runner on them. He was stuck for 2 hours at the top of the stairs needing to go to the bathroom & eat.
  9. Photoshop question: I think actual pics only. You can get someone to restrain the animal and another to hold the hat on. Legal disclaimer: No pets shall be physically harmed ( embarrassed is OK). Owners should be aware that they may be bitten scratched or otherwise maimed.
  10. You get used to them. We had tornado parties when the boys were little. We would bring dinner or snacks and a cooler with stuff they didn't usually get, down in the basement. Sometimes they would sleep down there because it was quieter in thunderstorms. The dog we had when they were little, I taught to hear the sirens. There weren't as many sirens then...
  11. You just live above me! I live in Kansas City area. We have had tornados in the area.
  12. I'm in Kansas. It's 9:37 pm. Are you on the West coast?
  13. We are chatting along here, nicely! Except I have to go to bed soon. Battle of the Hats is on! Pets, your children, yourself, or a relative with a great hat!
  14. Did you see the pics posted of a gluten-free lemon cake By Trish? Daughter made? Her cat was wearing a party hat. Coop would like a styling hat. Will have to wait until I can take his picture in sunlight. His face doesn't show up well without a lot of light. Once again- we need a pet forum topic! Admin may think it has nothing to do with Celiac...
  15. We had a big discussion on here last week if you want to look back & read it.
  16. Hey Meg! I'm thinking the guy has had no education or training on proper gluten-free living. I hear about people that are told to eat gluten-free with no instructions. They think it's OK to eat at resturaunts as long as they don't order anything blatantly gluteny. They take the burger off the bun, etc. This may seem to work for some who don't get an...
  17. That will strike fear in the hearts of chinchillas!
  18. Might be entetaining to shop in a corset or naughty nurse outfit! Weather is getting warmer, perhaps a tent in the back yard? Make out in the car? Turn your phone off on the way over?
  19. Your whole family must watch. It's about a rabbit named Harvey! I remember it being suitable for kids.
  20. Now that is headgear fit for a pampered pet! Hey Rachelle! Have you ever seen the movie or play " Harvey"?
  21. Nothing to do with you. He just liked the names Fred & Harvey. Next ones he's going to name Rachelle & Jesse.
  22. You might remind the doc that some of your intestine might be healthy. It is probably not all destroyed as it is very long. The undamaged part might still be getting nutrients. I was given large doses of iron and my iron levels came up despite the Celiac damage because some parts were able to absorb it. Might also ask why your doc is so against an "...
  23. What a fun bun! Just got back from hub's colonoscopy. The routine kind you have when you get old. It was good he had it. He had 2 polyps, one quite large. He named them Harvey & Fred. He now has a tattoo as they tattoo where they remove the polyps, just in case. He was soooo tired after being up all night that he wouldn't wake up. He is...
