  1. I don't homeschool but know kids that have been. The public schools have to allow the HS kids to participate in the school activities (more important for middle & high school)like drama or football. In high school, home school kids attend our CAPS center which is for advanced studies in things like engineering, medicine, business. Some go to the high...
  2. Nate, you aren't the only one who has done this. They have gluten-free & regular bread. My 15 yr old son stopped me. He is more careful for me then I am sometimes.
  3. Copy this and take it to your doc. They might pay attention to it as it is from an actual hospital & doctor. Make an appointment with your primary care. You could mail a copy to your primary care doc & bring one with you. Highlight the specific tests you need. Ask the doc to write the specific tests on the lab draw sheet. Keep another copy with...
  4. Well I'm back home. No extra vomiting. Thankfully, it does not appear that a virus was present. It appears to be reactions to allergies. They have something in the air in Tulsa we don't have here. Not sure how the Prom & wedding partiers fared.
  5. Go to the grocery. No need to get it on line. Lea & Perrins Worchester sauce says gluten-free on it.
  6. I'm in Tulsa for my boy's lacrosse tournament. M is very excited because they let him play a lot ( by his standards). Had one kid yesterday vomiting. Woke up this morning & M at the door. His roommate was vomitting. Then started hearing the people next door vomitting. Then someone in the hall, then the other next door! R checked on M's roomie...
  7. Well, no loss on my job here. Been walking my dog and picking up odd & ends & not getting paid. Aren't Calif divorces quick? Can't remember.
  8. Oh no! So much for the Kansas office!
  9. Watching RB on RR. Asked if he "will be glued to the TV watching the Royal wedding?" Answer: "The only way I will watch it is if I am glued to the TV"
  10. My SIL made a cauliflower crust and said it was good. She has diabetes and the low carb part was good for her. Do you have a crockpot? lots of easy recipes to make meals with a crockpot.
  11. I think I would use it ....on his backside. If one of my teen boys did that, they would have to go to the store, maybe 3 or 4 stores, until I found a new one I liked. They would then have to buy it. The shopping is part of the punishment. Seriously, I would get a good look at it and then probably soak it and then soak the cracks with vinegar and wash...
  12. As long as you recycle, that's what's important.
  13. Thanks. RR is on here at 9 am. I was hoping to get out of the house before that for exercise and errands. That blows that! Must see RB.
  14. Alright! Enough! If we don't grow it or kill it ourselves, we can't eat it! I will surely lose some weight with this new eating plan! Backyard bunnies, beware!
  15. I googled Heinz gluten free and got this list. You can try this with other brands but check that it is the company's website & their list not Bubba Know- it -all's list. I think this is a US list and it might be different in other countries, even Canada. Open Original Shared Link
  16. Hi Susan! Weezee & Kitteh would look nice with hats!
  17. When I was a kid, we went on long road trips. We brought a cooler and made sandwiches for lunch. We would stop at big rest stops or go into little towns and stop at the park. This gave us a chance to run around. When my kids were little, we did the same thing, bringing a soccer ball. Kids need to get out and run around.
  18. What a pity! And you are going to inflict it on your co- workers!
  19. That's what i'm here for - comic relief and great wisdom. Actually, my hub was explaining to someone why I wasn't eating he said, " even a little crumb or flour in the air can destroy her intestines.". Nice to know he listened to me at least once.
  20. I love a well socialized & trained Pit! They want to please and it's really hard to hurt them. Kids laying on them, stepping on them, etc
  21. Open Original Shared Link I have had pizzas and done well. The crust isn't special but the toppings are! I talked to the owner/ operator of the one near me. They get all the toppings from clean unused containers. They even cook the pizzas at least 2 feet from a regular pizza. I asked for a topping that wasn't gluten-free and they called me back to...
  22. I forgot about this until now. We got a water cooler and were all paying $2 every month for the cold water & it had an instant hot water. We earned a treat & the hospital paid for the water cooler for the next budget year. Free coffee & tea was a nice booster. We got a stereo with speakers around the office once. One place I worked, we...
  23. My mom has had a couple. She gets horrific uncontrollable D about 4 hours later. I agree with Ravenwood. You should call your doc and maybe the xray department where you had it.
