  1. March 13 - 20 Do you ski? It surprises me the people that even work at ski resorts and don't ski/board.
  2. I will be there in March because Tahoe and SLC area are the only places to ski. We are not sure where we will ski, so we haven't figured out where we will stay. May do a few days in Eden ? by Powder Mtn and a few days in Sandy area or Park City. The boys have to agree on where they want to ski. I just follow along.
  3. I was wondering something similiar.
  4. Did they do a pregnancy test?
  5. The student newspaper is a good idea. Also, local news media. Did you try to find a lawyer to write a note? I'm hoping you could find a public aide or a relative who could help. Individual professor have no say in whether they want to excuse an absence or allow you to make something up? If they do, you might talk to them. They could be s...
  6. OH NO! You need waterproof mascara!
  7. You did say that you had Chicken Chow Mein. You probably need to think about cc. They may make your Chow Mein without the noodles but in the same pan they just made it with noodles and soy sauce. Your SIL may drain the potatoes in the same colander she used last night for regular pasta unless they are gluten-free at her house. You could also have a problem...
  8. You have been diagnosed with Celiac so you aren't supposed to eat any gluten. Eating it causes destruction of your intestines. You need your intestines to digest your food. You will continue having digestive problems as long as you keep eating gluten containing things. A little Chow Mein is still eating gluten as most of those noodles are made from wheat...
  9. That's so cute? You can hear the babies purring. Just to clarify: I would never put an alligator out in the cold.. A teenager or a hub maybe, but not a poor alligator.
  10. The scary thing is our Rachelle doesn't have support staff ( unless you count sending the kids to school & hub to work).
  11. Exactly! She has some cool ideas. She just makes it sound like it's all done by her. There are not enough hours in the day for even Rachelle to do all that! Lately, she has started showing her support staff. That's a good thing.
  12. Betty Crocker chocolate cake or gluten-free Pantry are easy ways to make a cupcake for yourself. Don't go eating off the top, side or anywhere near a glutinous baked good! Also, good brownie mixes - add Kraft caramel bits, M&ms, chips, nuts. Gets a bit easier as you get used to it. I found dark chocolate sun butter cups at Whole Foods. To me...
  13. A Democratic conspiracy against a prominent Republican with a big audience. . That's the joke I heard. Really don't think Martha was trying to harm EH. Just think she forgot and, on the spur of the moment, didn't think ot know about true gluten-free eating. I still like Martha.
  14. Sounds like your kids might have gluten and, perhaps, other intolerances. My boys are teen & I am the only Celiac in the house. They eat a lot of gluten-free meals and are fine. Of course things like Bbq chicken, potatoes cooked with olive oil, green beans and ice cream are gluten-free.
  15. If you live in Kansas City area, I think I could help! Have some connections you will need. However, we have 3 commercial gluten-free bakers here. No walk up bakery. They sell to restaurants and grocery stores.
  16. So I went to my Oct statement to see what I spent on groceries. Hard to tell on theWalmart & Target charges. But it's looking like about $1000 a month including Gatorade and Cheez-it's. Teen boys love meat, juices & choc milk. I...... I... No wonder I never have any money!
  17. Way too much but it has very little to do with flour replacements. Just spent $65 on groceries. Could have probably cut at least $15 off it if I wanted to. Use jar pasta sauce instead of fresh tomatoes and arugula. Buy the Parm cheese in the can instead of good quality shredded Parm & Asiago. Probably could have saved $6 by shopping for some of theis...
  18. Hub sent me this CNN link yesterday. He was excited about using the ginger snap cookies for a pie crust. I was going to make a pumpkin pie without crust to save calories but he is really excited to use the bag of cookies he bought for crust. He doesn't care much about regular pie crust. Open Original Shared Link
  19. Glutinos & Snyders have soy lecithin. Ener g Wylde (orange bag) pretzels look like they don't have soy.
  20. That sounds great! What time shall I be over Saturday, Cousin Ro?
  21. I've watched Real Housewives of New Jersey. It's never too early in Jersey for wine!
  22. Not good with the math on odds but I would think it would be hard to get a piece out without something falling on it. Maybe they injected it with seasoning or put some on the inside. Seems a bit odd that there is nothing else to eat or that your mom would want you to be sick. If someone was trying to poison me, I would find other living arrangements...
  23. When I first got on this forum, the box with your picture, dates, post # , etc used to say where you were from ( if you wanted). Hopefully, T will come back and post.
  24. Glad I stopped at the one drink. Might have been hard to function with 2. Nothing exciting here. No animals running amok. It's 9:06.
