  1. The easiest way to find out this type of info for yourself is to google: "Splenda gluten free" " Sweet and Low gluten free" Then look for the one from the actual company example: "splenda .com/faq." This will then take you directly to the part of the Splenda company that has that answer.
  2. Yum! Not bad for a 2 square foot kitchen! I have been wanting to do something like this but too lazy to try to figure it out myself.
  3. Watch out for the Lipton onion soup! I have seen on here that the newer versions seem to have gluten in the ingredients.
  4. We are grilling steaks that I marinate in worchesshire (?) sauce , garlic and.black pepper. Red potatoes cut in little squares, tossed with olive oil and Italian seasoning, put in a foil packet and grilled. Regular salad. Hub's millionth birthday so I will make a BC brownie mix with Kraft Carmel bits, hot from the oven, vanilla ice cream and Carmel sauce...

  9. I have decided to put a different Santa in my Av everyday until Xmas. I might have enough Santas to do this until Xmas 2011. Hope you like Santa Claus.
  10. If they want to cook for her again or wonder why you will not let them cook for her -yes. If you think they are capable of cooking safely and just need more direction - yes. If this will never be an issue again, then why hurt thier feelings? I bet it will be an issue unless they live in Romania on the moon or are moving into a nursing home or have sworn...
  11. You know what I just realized? My sister got a new oven. For years we couldn't eat at her house or she couldn't fix things to bring over cause her oven was dead. This year, when she knew I have to cook everything ( except pies), she brought a homemade pumpkin pie!
  12. Oh! Duh! ( smacking forehead with heel of hand) I'm trying to put up Xmas decorations. Wouldn't be so bad except you see the cob web in the corner, or the dust on top of the cabinet....so you feel obligated to clean it before you put a Xmas decoration up there.
  13. Why Em? He used to be married to Padma on Top Chef! Did he used to be married to Em, too?
  14. Glad they came out well. Was afraid the directions from my con oven were wrong. Imagined a giant fireball or exploding ducks! Then very angry hub and son! Then very angry Loey! Then everyone on C.com angry! Then my Group would changed to banned and I would loose all those little pluses I gave my self!
  15. You will need to add a potato or rice pilaf and some saut
  16. The Ginger snap pie crust was yummy! I never thought regular crusts tasted like much.
  17. A lot of the cheaper American wines are made in metal vats if that makes you feel safer. I drink what ever kind I like or is being served. A real wine maker would never allow stuff like wheat to get in the wine. If wine bothers you, and it bothers some people, it is likely not gluten but something else.
  18. We find the shell shape stays less mushy.
  19. I made some gluten-free Pantry bread. Chopped a loaf up and blenderized it. Then I froze them. Then I saut

  21. This is good info but the post is more than 2 years old.
  22. You can look at Pepsi's website. Most or all of the sodas are gluten-free. Kc Masterpiece BBQ sauce is gluten-free, plain flavor for sure. Don't know what "Jack's Link" is.
  23. Have you tried Thai Kitchen rice noodles? They are like spaghetti. You could watch for sales or coupons as they are a main grocery item. You can put pasta sauce on rice with a little cheese or hamburger meat. Frozen veggies are supposed to be just as healthy as fresh but often cheaper.
  24. 2 thoughts, Jason: 1. As time goes on, they will get used to your "odd ways". You will probably have to bring your own food, but they will ignore it. 2. We have some difficult relatives I do not want to spend time with. Figured we had to do either Christmas or Thanksgiving but not both. Made other plans for Thanskgiving. Went to Disney, Wash,...
