    Traditional cobbler is fruit with a top crust or crumbly top crust. At camp, you put pie filling then top with the powdered cake mix and some little bits of butter. Yum!

    No. no biopsy. My kids had blood tests for celiac disease that were odd. Trying to get some info on them. Don't seem to be positive but the Peditrician didn't know what they mean. Sent them to another doc but he has been on vacation & is backed up.

    We don't know what the kiddo has yet. Children's does research in all specialties and happens to have a Celiac center so presumably any GI would know about Celiac if that is the issue.     I know you are technically a grown up, but sometimes have a mom with you at the doctors helps. Just have another person to back you up or insist on tests. You may want to try another doctor, too.     It was reformulated to come down to 3.2%. Here grocery stores can only sell 3.2% or lower. The liquor stores won't carry 3.2 beer because its at groceries and they are cranky that way.

    I was thinking you might nor need no stick if you put parchment paper in the pan. Also, when Hub makes pizza, he put some cornmeal on the pan first to help it not stick. A really simple thin crust is to use a rice tortilla.

    They have special pans that I think are even a different color to cook the gluten-free food in. That's what I heard. They always forget & give me the fortune cookies which are not gluten-free.

    I live in one of those 3.2 beer states. They have reformulated it and now none of the liquor stores will carry it. Only grocery stores. But most of them only carry a really small section of beer, so its hard to find here. I just emailed them. i looked at the website and the stores that are supposed to carry it don't have it.     Pulled my bag out of the freezer and what do you know? Under the ingredients, way at the bottom "gluten Free". To celebrate this momentous discovery, I popped some in the oven. Yum!
