  1. Whey is just part of whole milk. I worry about places like B R because piece of ice cream cones could be broken in the ice cream. Not sure where they pack the pre made containers. You might ask.
  2. But your hair looks good!
  3. If for some reason they don't give you a quick appt, they have a great ER. If the red blood keeps up, just go straight there. If you go Monday - Friday during the day, you should be seeing a GI in the ER.
  4. Here' a scary restaurant factoid that has nothing to do with gluten. In college, I worked in a pizza place. The county required everyone that worked there to take a 2-3 hr class on health codes and issues in a restaurant. That's great! I had not worked in a restaurant before, so I learned a lot. The scary part is that not all states or counties require...
  5. I had to be at the hospital at 6:30 am and was outnof there by 10. They say no driving, operating machinery, "signing legal doc's, etc. I went home and slept for about 2 hours. Then got up and had some chicken rice soup. Shortly, after that, was doing good. I went to a kids 3:00 basketball game. I could have gone to an evening concert. But don't drive...
  6. I was talking to the manager of our local Smashburger which is not gluten-free. She said that they do not have an allergen menu. If they did, they would train the kitchen staff in it and she would have to make sure they were following the protocols at all times. She said they did not know the ingredients on everything they cook. She isn't being lazy, that...
  7. They talk about cc but do they really make anything on those lines with gluten? If the list they gave you is all of thier products, then maybe they couldn't cc for gluten. They may be talking about cc of strawberry when making cherry. also, the fact that they had a clue about what you are asking, makes me feel more confident in getting thier products...
  8. Good point. Baking soda is a chemical made from rocks, salt, chemicals. not sure that can be organic.
  9. I wondered, too. I'll speculate, too. I think it is that half your body weight is water so you need to drink more. A gallon weighs about 7 lbs.
  10. Oh no! Your mom will have to come over to read our brilliant, insightful and comedic posts! Or maybe you could get one of those computer readers that read your text in a lovely, robotic voice. It twill have a phine time prononciating da psilly spellings.
  11. Nope. Old souvenirs from the fraternity. Beer cups from college football..... So.. nope!
  12. OMG! Is Bunny in my family? Judy, I'm good at packing mystery boxes. We have 3 that are still shut from moving 18 years ago.
  13. Most sticks and small rocks as well as grasshoppers are gluten-free and sodium free! Man this sucks. You will have to be really careful of the pre made stuff you buy. There are gluten-free and sodium free broths, canned tomatoes, etc. You will have to look for them. Eating plain meats, veggies, fruits, rice, etc will work. Season with herbs &...
  14. Thanks, David! I was going to try this with some left over rice but ate it instead!
  15. I love these with hummus!
  16. Just trying to warn you. Just because something had "gluten free" on it 5 years ago, doesn't mean it hasn't changed. The knowledge that Kraft lists all gluten containing ingredients clearly, helped me a lot at the grocery.
  17. I used to love pumpkin pie but I puked on right after eating it as a kid. I've never really eaten it since.
  18. I think I felt mine around 12 weeks once or twice. Just sort of a little touch. If I was sitting quietly. Sounds like the little guppy is doing well.
  19. I still think large quantities of ice cream or an ice cream equivalent!
  20. Sounds like a good mom! I like that coconut ice cream. If you crumble up some hamburger into teeny tiny pieces, you can bacisally swallow it. (Had a baby who wouldn't eat squishy baby food and had 4 teeth). My kids never got the pox. They were exposed many times but didn't get it. They got the vaccine. I heard there is one for shingles. Might look...
  21. You know this is a really old thread? Anyway, I haven't seen PB with gluten. Remember, as is stated here often: Kraft will list any source of gluten (not just wheat) on its labels.
  22. My thought exactly! The stove top burners work and the microwave is separate & works. It just means that its hard to cook a turkey or rolls, etc for a family dinner. Last Xmas, not knowing my parents had given them the money for an oven 2 years before, I offered to get them a nice convection/toaster oven thingie. Sis didn't want that. My Thanksgiving...
  23. You feel sooooo very awful. It's hard to eat. Really the best food to treat shingles is premium ice cream. I'm sure I saw a medical study on that. Yes, it was 3 separate studies now that I think about it. Sorry, I can't find them right now to reference them. Trust me.
  24. You have to make everything complicated, don't you? I googled dairy free chocolate and it looks like there are quite a few that also say. Dairy free.
  25. Great news! I had horrible headaches & light headedness while pregnant but they seemed to be from very low blood pressure. Had a patient in the ICU take one look at me and painfully move his legs over & tell me to sit. He was afraid the pregnant lady was going to fall over. I looked that bad! Drinking more water then an elephant seemed to help...
