    Oh, this is not new for me. I started doing this in my 20's and have ALWAYS had a problem with meds that are supposed to sedate me. I cannot take codeine or narcotic pain meds either. (which is infuriating because it would help with the pain I am in) Especially makes recovery from surgeries "tricky"

    Well, I am gobsmacked at this display of shenanigans from you, young lady. I can't stop laughing. The first time I heard a man in Ireland say "shut yer gob" to someone, I nearly fell off the bar stool laughing.

    V Gal, Well, this is the fault of the hospital staff, honey. You should have been heavily sedated , not just numbed. Poor babe. I HATE any tubes down my throat too and do not get me started on anything going in anywhere else. I clam up like ...well, a clam....slam . shut. bring on the heavy drugs or you ain't getting in. I can relate to a story...

    Not that I notice, hon.It just tastes "coconutty". Is it spoiled? Although that's hard to do--it has a long shelf life.

    I loved it ! Compared to some of my long answers on the board, it was just a telegraph. I felt as if I were right there with you shopping. Sounds like fun. and by the way, only you can use the term " higgledy piggledy" and get away with it.     Luck! and if it is edible, please share? thanks, toots. I am not crazy about the overwhelming taste of curry powder (I think it tastes like soap) , although I love Thai dishes....go figure...Nice superman.

    Dinner tonight: Burgers with mushrooms and onions Avocado halves with bacon crumbles and balsamic glaze (thank you, Sora for that recipe) Green beans or asparagus--have to see what they look like at the market. Day 2 ....and fortheloveofmike, I swear I am having w/d from sugar and cheese ...and this is not fun at all

    I have to agree with Shroom on this one, kiddo. The sausage is more suspect than the LaraBar (if you have been eating LaraBars all along w/o issues) What's in the sausage? Delayed reactions make it very difficult to pinpoint a culprit and as you and I have discussed already--you are still healing. Just 6 weeks into this journey and EVERYTHING may...
