  2. Ski liked your rolls soooo much, Shroom,.....she said it twice.
  3. We'll leave a trail of breadrcumbs , no wait , cheesesticks no... er, OLIVES for ourselves.
  4. Our Kareng invented those!. No, just kidding, but she did turn me on to them for travel . They are called Toast It bags here in the states. Open Original Shared Link And yes, they are very helpful indeed! Glad you found them ---as using a shared toaster is a dicey proposition. and a big No-no. Cheers!
  5. This is my cheesy/dairy/grainy .....swan song. Fliet mignons in a balsamic syrup with goat cheese. Smashed garlic and parmesan -reggiano potatoes Corn Pots au chocolate with bourbon vanilla whipped cream Champage (That last part is a New Year's Day tradition). Gonna be some major creativity going on around here the next few weeks. The MindWarpster...

  7. It is easier and it's also fun. yes, what P said........ Like this I know, now I am just showing off . One time I did a quintuple quote on the dinner chat. Stunned them all.
  8. Well, your instructions work perfectly, K! and since I, too was once "multi quote challenged"(and Shroom and Peter taught me) you can see that if even techno- doofus me can do it, so can you. Go, Squirmy, Go!!!
  9. We can help you transition them over. They will not even be able to tell (mostly ) Let's try this first.--getting you over being glutened---and see if you feel better.
  10. ..........and with that, K found herself barraged with 268 PMs.... (and possibly a mild case of C from 5 kinds of cheeses!!!!!!!!!!!)
  11. I hesitate to say this anyone because many celiacs co-exist with WEs and do fine, but if you're not ingesting anything with gluten, but you're still serving gluteny meals, especially to kiddos whose hands touch everything around them, then, yes, hon, there's a good chance you are inadvertently getting hit. Neg tests or not, what about a month long trial...
  12. Whoohoo! Another RBJ convert! Did you think we would lead you astray ?? Never! ..........and 5 kinds of cheeses??? really K? Ouch
  13. Gee Free speaks the truth, kiddo. No way to tell if anything else is going on as long as you are being dosed by small hits and the inflammation is ongoing. It could very well be fructose malabsorption for example, but it could also just be your gut is in chaos. Frankly, the whole 30 program will be a good way to "clear the decks" so to speak. Nothing...
  14. It was a doozy (and good riddance to bad rubbish ...as my Dad would say) and I hope you are feeling chipper and ready for 2013. Many blessings to you!
  15. methinks the lady doth protest too much? HNY MW...Don't ovedose on Depp and stilton and we have a date for Jan.2 xx And SKI!!!!!!!!!!!!! You sweetheart...I got the PINK bike streamers! 16. Holy smokes! We just got an invite to have dinner with the angel who runs the Gluten Free Restaurant near us--in their home. Tonight. Think I said YES?? you betcha!!!!!. I'm bringing dessert. I'm a nervous wreck....she's a champion baker. This should be AWESOME!!!
  17. Holy crap! I thought that was just me.........
  18. They do? Is there any medical or scientific research on this? I like to read..
  19. greedy girl. I'm still sticking with Andy Garcia.
  20. And sometimes painful overacting. When I showed Rebel Without a Cause in my Themes in American Film course, I had to stifle my laughter at the back of the room. He was awfully cute though. 'Tis a shame he died so young.. Bunz, I also loved Paul Newman! My guy has blue eyes like that, but there's a lot to be said for Robert Redford, too. Happy...
  21. Being in denial is not helping you, hon. You already know what damage can be done. If not, READ about celiac disease and quit the malarkey! There are many complications of untreated celiac. "Untreated " means undiagnosed OR not following a gluten free diet. Open Original Shared Link I talk privately with 2 lovely women on here who are...
  22. yes....and more! here, read this: Open Original Shared Link and print this out too!
  23. I had skin BURNING and an insane itching -drive -yourself -mad skin issue including red blisters, canker sores and small oozing red bumps on my scalp. My very celiac-savvy GI doctor said: "There are many kinds of celiac rashes and they are not all full-blown DH. The burning was possibly a pre-cursor of the blistering rash of DH and your skin was...
  24. Yes. That's the short answer (not because I am on my cell but because this is the answer to your major questions about symptoms) But you raise several questions and there is no "pat answer." Are you asking if these symptoms resolve on a gluten-free diet? Yes, they can. And yes, our bodies are ONE complex system, so of course, I think they...
  25. And it is seemingly insignificant, I know, but since I am on a ranting roll...what the heck! Um,.....it is "celiacs" (plural form ) ...not "celiac's.".... (possessive form) SO sorry, but l see this mistake all the time and I had to get that out of my English Professor system. With all due respect, tennisman. Please, please ..... do not...
