  1. I would get your thyroid checked. Read up on symptoms of hypothyroidism. Make sure you get the whole panel including thyroid peroxidase antibodies (show the autoimmune version of the disease). This is very common in celiacs.
  2. I use Kiss My Face Swy Flotter.
  3. Your doc is clueless. Endos are the worst. I used my regualar GP who works with Dr. Lowe. My antibodies have gone from 799 (before any treatment) to 299, 159, and now back up to 213. Still not at a high enough dose of meds yet.
  4. I think you should see a naturopathic doc.
  5. My docs said that being on to low a dose of armour can make you feel worse than before. But, I don't know why you would be having blisters.
  6. I can answer. I have hashis. YOu can have high antibodies which shows hashis, but have all other normal tests. ( I did). This is the autoimmune form of the disease. Your body is actually making antibodies against your thyroid. This is very common in celiacs.
  7. Yes it can cause a swollen feeling, but I don't know about pain. If you get the tests get the whole panel including the thyroid peroxidase anitbodies.
  8. Ok it does sound like IC or prostitis (similar ailment in men) or irritable bladder. All these can be caused by candida. They can also not. Bananas are a no no on the IC diet due to potassium, which can irritate the bladder. I am concerned that you are only eating meat and rice. You are seriously depleated in vitamins. Do all vegies bother your bladder...

  10. I use Avalon organicas lavendar facial cleansing milk and day moisturizer without problems. I read the back and there is no offending ingredients. I use Giovanni or Shakai shampoo and conditioner.
  11. I would stay away from non organic soy milk like silk. Read up on this!
  12. Just so you know thyroid levels can change daily. Your docs tsh level range is way off and old. They new range is .3-3. Your antibodies were at 69 sound like hashis. I have this and adrenal fatigue. Make sure if you get meds, stay away from synthroid. Use Armour or cytomel. Have you read the website I recommende? dr.lowe.com. So many answers there.
  13. Why don't you get a stool test through enterolab. They can't diagnose celiac, but can diagnose gluten intolerance. This is how I found out.
  14. I just told my dentist a head of time and they told me to bring in my own toothpaste. I brought Toms of Maine.
  15. It doesn't sound a whole lot like IC when you describe it like that. Do you have bladder discomfort? Just so you know if you have bowel discomfort it can make the bladder worse, or sometimes bladder discomfort feels like bowel. YOur bladder is lower down right above the pubic region. My pain is usually from the middle towards the left side. Do you feel...
  16. Scotty, I am a bit confused. Your original post talked about bladder issues and peeing a lot, I thought. It seems most of your posts talk about bowel issues. Do you have both. IC would just involve the bladder, though constipation is common and can exaserbate it. Gatorade is bad for IC due to the citric acid.
  17. Why ew for popcorn. I buy Newman's own organic plain and melt organic butter and put it on top!
  18. Please take probiotics with your antibitics, otherwise you are setting yourself up for yeast overgrowth which can cause sinus issues and many others. For the person who took lots of anitbiotics that did not help, I would think about candida (yeast overgrowth) being the culprit.
  19. Sinus issues can be caused by yeast (candida overgrowth). The Mayo clinic did a study that showed that 90% of sinus issues were fungal not bacterial.
  20. Corn chips are fine on the IC diet, but I would eat them spareingly on the candida diet. I tend to favor popcorn, because it has lots of fiber. Some candida diets I have seen says they are ok and some say no. I did the candida diet ( a very strict version and almost wasted away). I have seen less strict ones that I may try again - it did allow sweet potatoes...
  21. Soy is not good on the IC diet. Corn is ok unless you are intolerant.
  22. You can take Armour which is natural thryoid from pigs - I know sounds gross, but works. Low side of normal basically coupled with your symptoms means hypothyoid. Also your doc may be using old reference ranges as well. Read up at drlowe.com.
  23. Could be. Was the chicken a premade grilled chicken, or cooked on a contaminated grill? What did you use for salad dressing?
  24. So sorry you are dealing with this. Endos are the worst. I ended up using Dr. John Lowe in Colorodo long distance. He consults with my GP who is great. He has a web site that will answer a lot of your questions. dr.lowe.com. You definitley are Hypo esp. with antibodies.
  25. Last I knew they had contamination issues. The last time I had some I felt funky afterwards. Try cascadian farms fries.
