    Yes, but to miss a day here and there because of a glutening does not seem like a lot. You must have sick leave. I could understand not being able to make accomadations if it was for weeks and weeks.

    I take Carlsons no problems. I would stay away from types like Costco. Carlsons and Nordic naturals are the best and gauranteed no heavy metals.

    I have read on Mercola .com that Cod liver oil is the best way to get vit d for all but the summer months if you get a lot of sun. Then you can take regular fish oil. Carlsons, or nordic naturals are best.

    Yes! But if the doc is going to do blood testing don't stop the gluten until after testing it will alter the results. Or you could go gluten free on your own. The test can give false negatives. Even if negative I would try a gluten free diet anyway. You could also do stool testing at enterlabs. You can be off gluten to do this test. It will show gluten...

    sometimes even when making a flourless item, the baker may coat the pan with flour to avoid sticking. I know they do this at Cheesecake factory with their crustless cheesecake.

    I say keep her gluten free. You could also have the stool test done by entero labs. It shows gluten intolerance and casein intolerance. You can do the test even off gluten.

    Ok here is a question I haven't seen asked before. I am using a all natural unbleached maxi pad. After reading the back it talked about using some form of wheat pulp for absorbency. Could this be a problem. I don't have DH.

    Yea I noticed that the Honey rice puffins made me feel like crap. No problem the one time I had Mesa Sunrise. The only cereal I seem to tolerate is Rice Crunchems and Eewhorn gluten free brown rice cereal.

    I get the same symptoms from too much sugar usually through ice cream. I have hypoglycemia. Sound like blood sugar symptoms to me. Also candida overgrowth can cause symptoms like this after sugary treats.

    I buy Newmans Own organic microwave popcorn plain and then melt my own organic butter and drizzle on!! Yum. The other kinds of newmans are gluten free also.

    You are so right. I just completed my lactation counseling certificate and the current belief is every 1/2-1 1/2 hours. We have been taught wrong info all these years. My own son never went more than a hour and a half.

    Stick to the diet, but the test will be innacurate because you are gluten free. I would suggest a stool test now from enterolabs. They can test even though you are gluten free. Do not consume gluten during your pregnancy or breastfeeding!!
