  1. Hi I have loads of fillings (from past) in spite of lots of care of my teeth and tooth pain (like sensitive teeth hot/cold) but from any food. Dentist could find nothing wrong but has gone completely gluten free . I also have horizontal ridges across my front teeth from dodgy enamel. (Dentist looked at me like I had two heads when I suggested it could...
  2. You mention in your title clammy (?) - is this as in hot? Anyway, gluten (especially) but also other food intolerances give me a hot flush within a few minutes. I guess that this too is a stress reaction to the food and I imagine it is caused by a rise in cortisol (stress) giving a hot flush.
  3. Hi Buckwheat Gluten alters my breathing - kind of heavy as if slightly laboured, not getting enough oxygen, sort of thing. Also makes my heart beat heavily. I know what you mean about it feeling like a panic attack, but it is in fact a gluten reaction - I think it is my body becoming stressed by gluten arriving in the system! I get it now with a hint of...
  4. New kid in town - The Eagles
  5. Baker Street -Gerry Rafferty (Hope this is spelled correctly)
  6. Because of you - Kelly Clarkson
  7. Just to apologise ... I thought that I was responding at the bottom of page 1 - so now I look completely off topic. I think I'm losing the plot today .
  8. I have not managed to eat out anywhere yet and not feel glutened the next day. Our local Italian restaurant does gluten free people in a special pan ( ) reserved for gluten free and I have salad (olive oil only) but it still gets me every time . I think there is just too much gluten going on in most kitchens and of course, flour in the air, etc must tend...
  9. Pre-gluten free when waking up in the morning, I would have to run through the days of the week in my mind to work out what day it was! Gluten free this doesn't happen! Yay! A symptom of brain fog, I presume. Also would often wake up to a heavy cold starting - oh no! got a bad cold coming on but symptoms all gone by mid/late morning! - another gluten...
  10. Thanks for the reply. Guess I must have done something but no idea what . Perhaps my computer is trying to be helpful ........
  11. Hi I did post in the Forum Upgrade problems section but no one has replied . Anyway, since upgrade (I think) when I arrive at the forum I am already signed in. I can sign out, go away and come back and I am signed in again. Is this normal (it wasn't happening before - I have always signed in)? Have I pressed something different ?
  12. Hotel California - The Eagles Yay !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. Hi Must jump on the band wagon here .... Forgot to mention before but have been reminded this weekend as presumably cc'd or other non-tolerant food - my stomach does this kind of angry howling low down, could be trapped wind effect (sorry, hard to explain ) which I have had before. In the past, with gluten, has been very bad. We have a friend who...

  15. Best of my love - The Eagles (Saw Talon - tribute band - best of the Eagles a few weeks ago ...... fab fab fab )
  16. I won't leave you lonely - Shania Twain
  17. If I eat sea salt (which sadly, I really like) my DH worsens from about the 2nd day of having it. This applies to putting it in things I'm making and eating too. I don't eat salty things normally but occasionally some sea salt is lovely . When I was eating oily fish (mainly salmon) three times a week it got a lot worse but of course, it was some time before...
  18. Not had these but I always believed it was B vitamin deficiency - B2 especially, I think.
  19. Hi If you read the MayoClinic link which you kindly supplied, it goes on to say that excessive stomach noise can be caused by underlying stomach condition like IBS, especially when accompanied by bloating, gas, etc. I should think celiac comes under this heading for sure! I was undiagnosed for many years so my stomach came up with plenty of methods to...
  20. I assumed we were not referring to grumbling 'hungry' stomach noises which would be normal. Mine were definitely to do with gluten and the liquid stomach was not from having had liquid but something strange happening to the food!!!!! Happy to report I don't get this gluten free .
  21. Hi designerstubble I used to get terrible stomach rumbling after gluten breakfasts pre-gluten free days - gurgling/glooping . Also slooping noises (on running/walking) as if stomach contents had turned to liquid - eewh! tmi - had forgotten about that also pre-gluten free. Now mostly all quiet! However, hubs (who kindly went gluten free too) gets a...
  22. Can't get you out of my head - Kylie Minogue
