  6. I agree with Karen. Changes in eye color do occur in up to 15% of the White population. See here: Open Original Shared Link "Most individuals achieve stable eye color by 6 years of age. However, a subpopulation of 10% to 15% of white subjects have changes in eye color throughout adolescence and adulthood in the eye color range that can be expected...

  11. Just a few comments for you. Your chicken that glutened you was grilled you said? The grill is most likely the culprit. Prepared meat products at the butcher counter should be off limits ie: pre-made hamburger patties etc. Turkey, chicken, pork, turkey are inherently gluten free. If wheat is added it will be on the label. You need to read every label...

  16. Hi Cristiana, I have had a large one and some smaller satellites on my Thyroid for about two years now. I also have hypothyroidism. It has not really effected my thyroid levels that I know of because I was also being treated for cancer and that does effect thyroid levels which it did. They will probably do an ultra-sound every 6 months for awhile...
  17. Hi Kathy and Welcome to the Forum. I had the same with my appendix many many years ago but I have not seen definitive information about the two being connected. Joint pain is common with un-diagnosed Celiac. Read the Newbie 101 thread on the Coping Section. If will provide needed information to start your new Life being Gluten Free and ask any question...
  18. Hey POP, I ate about a handful of the Udi's Sweet @ Fruity Cranberry Granola last night. I had no problems whatsoever. The ingredients are the same except for the added cranberries and walnuts. Like I said before, this was my time eating oats for almost 2 years so I'm glad to know I can eat them. Looks like you should stay away from all oats, maybe...
  19. It doesn't say anything about having separate cooking areas etc, Cross Contamination may still be a problem. I'm skeptical. Colleen
  20. Hi Tallypop, Have you had your Thyroid tested yet? And do you have any other Autoimmune Diseases? If your tests are negative I would still trial the Gluten Free Diet. I would also pursue the Thyroid Testing and an ANA test for Autoimmune Diseases. It's great that you pursued testing before try Gluten Free. So many people find they do well on the...
  21. Hi POP, So sorry your feeling crummy. I haven't had any oats for the last two years but a week ago Hubs picked up the Udi's Oats for me, they are in the pantry. I'll get them out today and munch during the OSU (My Team) Bowl game. I'll let you know what happens. I haven't really seen any other posts about Udi's oats, just gluten free oats in general...
  22. Hi Jay, When you get that craving for a great snack, make a batch of Brownies. Bob's Red Mill and Betty Crocker have excellent mixes. You really cannot tell the difference in taste. Then wrap each one in Plastic Wrap and put them in the freezer, after you have wolfed a couple down, then you can pull one out and nuke it for a quick, satisfying snack...
  23. CiCi, please be aware of the date of the posts/threads you are replying to. This one is over 2 years old. Thank you Colleen
  24. I carry a slip of paper with my medical conditions folded over half of my drivers license. It begs to be read by anyone trying to find out who I am. Problem solved Colleen
  25. Nick, You have made an extra-ordinary effort to convince the Moderators and the Administration of this site that whiskey can have gluten. I must stress to you at this point that it is completely unnecessary to convince anyone, the OP's original question has been answered and you have now hijacked this thread to argue a mute point. Every discussion is...
