  1. If you would, please list those manufacturers so others will have that information. Thanks, Colleen
  2. I'm glad you don't have to take the Pred. Hopefully you can get to remission. Feel better! Colleen
  3. Soy adhesives are typically used for wood products. I've never seen a band aid with a soy adhesive. Tea bags are not made with soy. Your tea blend may contain soy and would be listed in the ingredients. Colleen
  4. How did the appointment go. How are you feeling?
  5. Your detergents should be fine because they don't get in your mouth. With the hand soap, it would depend on how well she rinses her hands. For any play make-up sets and lip color, they should be gluten free because of her age (only because it may get in her mouth . Adults typically only need to be concerned with lip color and face lotion. Colleen
  6. Aquaphor Ointement is my go for salve. Recommended by my Doctors over Neosporin for healing the skin. It works! Colleen
  7. Who are we to decide which and whose answers the OP will dismiss or embrace? If I was gonna chow down on some epsom salts I also might consider their possible CC issues since it is a processed product. If I am going to bathe in them and since they are inherantly gluten free then I would jump in. All we can do on this forum is offer advice. There is no...
  8. SMRI, Gluten is not an ingrediant. Wheat, Barley an Rye are and must be listed on the ingrediant label. The OP must be talking about processed chicken and NOT raw meat as raw meat is butchered, not processed. Processed chicken can have many ingrediants added to it depending on the finished product. Lets not get carried away with "Raw Chicken...
  9. Ok guys. My good friend IH gave me these links for you. It's based on the Fasano Diet for Refractory suspected cases. Here is the article: Open Original Shared Link And the Diet Guide Lines: Open Original Shared Link This would be a great basis for you two to start with. I really think it would give you guys a good place to start from scratch...
  10. We know where you are
  11. I'm having a reaction just looking at this stuff.
  12. Dang, that thing looks like a space ship. Far cry from the one I had about 40 years ago
  13. Ha...no cooties allowed here
  14. I think you can rule out the Cold urticaria unless you take cold showers Cycling Lady....you have so much going on...I don't know how you do it Colleen
  15. You guys are too funny
  16. I have filters on my kitchen sink and showers. I would look at the chlorine first. They probably make a test strip to measure this. If you do that do one at his place and one at home, see if there's a difference. Colleen
  17. Hi JD, Check out this link. This is how you break down a chicken to make stock. It has vegies and stuff so only add the ingredients that you tolerate. Open Original Shared Link Colleen
  18. Google 'Armin Alaedini', he is one of the authors of the study. You should be able to find it that way. Colleen
  19. If they don't say 'certified', assume they are not! Being certified is a badge of honor for companies, they will say it if they are. Best of luck. Colleen
  20. Hi JD, I haven't heard of any problems with this product. Considering your refractory status you may run into seemingly 'safe for Celiacs' products but are not suitable for you. You may have to consider making broths and stocks from scratch just like sticking to whole foods. I am thinking that you will need to find single ingrediant foods that...
  21. When you go ask for a dietician and they can order your food. I had no issues during my stays. Colleen
  22. Yay Nicole....A new adventure begins. Let me tell you something. I'm 5'5" and during a two year period I went up to 190 lbs. I kept telling my Doc that the med he started me on was making me gain weight. This was before Celiac dx. I was also taking steroids to try and control AI symptoms and so call fibro symptoms and that just added to the weight...
  23. I'm not quite sure why you are taking charcoal pills as they are typically used for poisoning and such. I would stop those. Look into a good probiotic. Glutenings can last up to a month or so. Immodium should help with the D. Give your body time to heal...lots of time. Try to stay with whole foods and limit anything processed. Try not to eat out for...
  24. Here is a link to an ALERT issued for the product the OP was concerned with. Open Original Shared Link Colleen
