  2. I'm allergic to rice, too, among other things. What are you looking for, specifically?
  3. i dont see why you can't do it in two days for sure - i'm just north of you in ontario, and many of our friends have done it in 1. have a blast!
  4. thanks - excellent.
  5. Personally, I wouldn't stop. My naturopath, combined with the instructions written on my enzyme, explained you have to ease in slowly, and for the first while, cycle your doses. I was nauseated from them a little, and it did go away. Also, take your dose(s) with a meal.
  6. hey! hope things are okay. i get the 'obvious' symptoms from gluten. dairy gives me the most intense brain fog, and i want to fall asleep. often, my legs get really weak, like i just got back from a long run. i also get pain in my sternum. i get dizzy, a tight chest, and hives from my other allergic foods.
  7. Hi Jeanne, I am not sure, but I wouldn't think that statement is true, because what about vegans who revert to vegetarianism (or omnivorism)? But I have no proof of it either way. About the cheese - aged, hard cheeses have little to no lactose, so if it is lactose and not casein, that is why parmesan worked out for you. Could it be something different...
  8. Just in case: The following recall has been announced: _About 985,000 Easy-Bake Ovens sold since last May, manufactured by Easy-Bake, a division of Hasbro Inc., because children can get their hands or fingers caught in the oven's opening, which poses an entrapment or burn hazard. The company has received 29 reports of children getting their fingers or...

  10. Sandra, I am going to head to Toronto to as many health food stores as possible. If you want, in the next few weeks as I perfect the recipes... Come visit!
  11. you have to use ground flax seed, or flax meal. otherwise, your body doesn't digest it, and you don't receive the benefits.
  12. i use the colour-treated fine hair one... i was excited they had the duo - i was always buying the 'for fine hair', then thought about the colour treated, and then they came out with one for both. silky, smooth, and a little more volume-y than normal.
  13. au contraire, celiacgirls... my dove products are special ... anything that can make this fine, fine hair have any sort of volume deserves that category!!!
  14. Open Original Shared Link This might apply to some of you.
  15. I highly recommend Burt's Bees Hand Salve! I also use Vaselin Intensive Therapy. I have very dry skin.
  16. This happened to me last year, and I could only down about 8 foods for about 8 months. Finally, I started to feel a little better. Have you tried an elimination diet? I was in a tough situation. Like you, I am casein free, but I am also allergic to buckwheat and rice, and some other foods. Regarding the last poster's response, I would not recommend garlic...
  17. stupid canadians i should march on up there...
  18. Is the brand you found "Wizard's"? If not, they are gluten-free and you could check if they are nut free.
  19. They do not contain gluten. Perhaps your doctor might think you have a blood sugar issue, as the ones you listed have a higher glycemic index.
  20. I know their Body Butters are. That is all I know.
  21. Nature's Path makes Mesa Sunrise, which isn't super high in fibre, but IS whole grain. My mom eats it (I can't because I'm allergic to buckwheat and rice), and she adds a little extra flax in it.
  22. please tell me it tastes like kilkenny.
  23. you could make a yeast -free loaf, but i second what gfp says.
  24. what company are your products?
  25. Hi Cathy, you're right - there is a lot to think about and a lot to remember. My first question would be to you are, are you exercising? If yes, my second is, are you strength training? After that, there is a lot to consider. I am not sure if you are eating an ideal amount for you, as I don't know your height, weight, bone structure, activity level...
