  1. I seemed to have reached a plateau, no better, no worse. I am thinking about eliminating dairy and see how that works. I think Jerry and I are kindred spirits. What do you substitute for butter for cooking and flavoring? Thanks, Lisa
  2. Zolloman's OMG! I have a vague memory of siting on a friends shoulders singing "Hey, hey baby, I wanna know if you'll be my girl..." The decadence of youth. Your 30th reunion, gosh richard, now you're making me feel old.
  3. I have a personal question for you Steve........WHEN in the heck DO you sleep. Your last post here would be 3:30 am Paris time. I am on eastern standard time., east coast US. Just curious?
  4. I can't answer that question, but I do know that it is gluten free. Perhaps you should call you dr. in the morning and get a recommendation.
  5. Dimetapp will help those symptoms as well. It has been a staple in my house when my girls were growing up. Hope you get a good night sleep and feel better in the morning.
  6. Good to have you back Lister: It sounds to me that you have the flu. Let me suggest something that will help you feel better, but if it is the flu, it has to run it's coarse. Get your girlfriend to get you some Dimetapp PM, or Dimetapp-Flu. It may make you feel more comfortable. (gluten free as well) Sometimes, when we get sick we blame everything...
  7. It should be no cause for concern unless someone dropped gluten crumbs in it. If you share it, I would suggest that you get your own.
  8. Connie: Celiac Disease is an intolerance to gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, malt, rye and sometimes oats. An intolerance can/will do damage to you small intestines. An allergy or sensitivity will/can have the same symptoms, but will not do damage. You mentioned that you have several intolerances. Was this an allergy test? Many of us...

  10. I take Oil of Olay and it is labled gluten free, with 600mgs of calcium. I find it at CVS. Works for me.
  11. If you send the lid back to ConAgra, they will reinburse you. I would rather, just get it out of the house.
  12. OOOOps: My daughter just callled me after eating a Peter Pan sandwich with the recalled #. We'll see
  13. I love left overs for breakfast. This morning was a sweet potato.
  14. WITNESS!!!!!...Grain alcohol in a trash cans in Red Square. How I survived?
  15. If her blood test was positive, she has celiac. Also, a colonoscopy is a scope in the large intestines, and an endoscopy will test the small intestines where celiac can be diagnosed with flattening of the villi and biopsy's can be taken. Your friend has celiac.
  16. You prefer emeralds...my poor reference to Emeril Lagossi, the BAM cheif, on my part. Odd attempt at humor....oh, I guess, I'll stick to READING the funnies, which I enjoy so much.
  17. I think it's wishful. Ya know, 14 K's
  18. Karen: POSITIVE THOUGHTS ONLY!!!! I don't know the answers to your question, but I can hold your hand. It could be something simple. Perhaps the prep was not as successfull as it should have been. Think good thoughts xxoo Lisa
  19. Nothing in my restaurant guide for Durango, sorry. Lisa
  20. B: Richard ordered it for his father who has a passion and it is a gift for him. Saaaabs are strange cars. You can't get used to putting in the key on the center console. I think since we have been married, I lost count on 67 cars that we have owned in 27 years. We have have had one of each and several of others. The most perfect utility...
  21. Amanda: When you define your plans and should you choose the Outer Banks, PM me. Soooo, when is the wedding? Curious minds want to know. Lisa
