    I have also learned that Tylenol can reek havoc on your liver if you over use. And not a good choice for those who drink libations.

    nate: If you were diagnosed 24 years ago. You have Celiac. If your concern is to detect the amount of damage done, a endoscopy would be appropriate, with several biopsies. An upper GI won't detect Celiac, but perhaps some ulcers or blockage. My colon and endo cost about $3,000. You could save that money and go with a strict gluten free diet and...

    Did you go on the diet before your blood test? Many time that can effect the results. Bright blood in the toilet really concerns me. Have you considered having a colonoscopy to make sure nothing is wrong with your colin?

    One of the posters said that MSG (G - gluten) is also incorrect. MSG may not be very good for anyone, but it has nothing to do with gluten. JoR, nice letter as well.

    A positive blood test is a clear indication of Celiac. A biopsy can be patchy and may not be conclusive. Welcome to the Club.!

    Coors Lite beer and eating commonly found oat meal is VERY unsafe for celiacs. The beer contains malt and the oatmeal is most likely cross contaminated.
