  1. You can go to the home page here and on the left side - click on Site Index. There you can find a list of Safe and Fobidden Lists. Cosmetics do have long words that only a Chemist could understand.
  2. I believe Dove products across the board are gluten free. But always read labels. Dove will list wheat if added.
  3. Moscow: You must check you shampoos, lotions, toothpaste or anything that can get into your mouth. That often is an overlooked gluten source.
  4. Don't know about organic, but I eat Yoplait (except for the cookies and crumbs).
  5. VCU did a great job. Maybe Duke got a bit cocky after years of being the big dog. UNC plays tonight and can't stay awake for that one....Go them Heels!!
  6. OMG!!!! The Duke/ VCU game was crazy. VCU deserved the win.
  7. You are very welcome and please always feel free to ask about anything. That's what it's all about.
  8. Welcome back stranger! Lynchburg is a nice city. I am sure smaller than Nashville. I have family surrounding you but not in Lynchburg. It's my drive through to Roanoke. Lovegrove is about 30-40 minutes away, perhaps he can be of help. Again, welcome back Vincent. Lisa
  9. Cheese - alot of newly diagnosed celiacs have trouble with dairy. Although, almost all cheeses are gluten free. There is still some concern about starter molds, as in blue cheese and similar others, others feel that they are artificially induced. I have not issue with blue cheese. All fresh veggies are gluten free. Canned veggies may have seasonings...
  10. This sounds so good....and easy. Thanks, this is one to try.
  11. I think most mayos are ok, but Hellman's and Dukes are the best and I can guarantee they are gluten free.

  14. Nawl....that femine humor always shone through. Glad you're out of the closet Jeanna
  15. I use Oil of Olay Vits. They list gluten free on the container. I always like to support that.

Go Tarheels!!! Let the madness begin. I'm east of you.
  17. Instead of small amount of soy sauce, try the gluten free ones. LaChoy is gluten free. I have found that the longer you are gluten free, the most sensitive I am to gluten. If you are positive for Celiac, it most definatly will be a life style change. It is a steep learning curve, but it is doable How were you tested?

Lisa, I am so glad for you. Another success story. Keep in touch, we got a pay it forward thing going on.
  19. We all come from diverse places spiritually. I believe it is a personal issue. And on this forum, I feel that it should remain personal. I, too, have very strong beliefs about religion, but this is not to place for it. As history reveals, religion can light fires here on celiac.com. Why don't we put this one out.
  20. Rob: Welcome to our world. Celiac can have over 200 symptoms and you seem to have just a few. Perhaps you are one of the lucky ones that get an early diognosis. But, on the other hand, there are several people here that have Celiac and they have no symptoms. Celiac can cause damage, even if you are non-symptomatic. I would not expect that...

  24. Jerry: I always admire how you deal with your ailment with humor. And I am pleased to return it. You make our "crappy" world lighter. You just need to decide which road you want to travel. It is your choice, your standared of living. There is no preaching from me. You are informed and well educated on the subject and you are capable of making...
