  1. Please don't forget your local food pantry. If you family cannot enjoy, there are always others in need. I also would like to add....On many of your food products there usually is a website that you can write and check and see if there is any hidden gluten. I have found that most company respond within a few days and are quite helpful. Donate the...
  2. I am sorry about your results. If you do have one positive blood test and you feel better on the diet, the answer is right in front of you. The goal is to heal your body and if sticking to the gluten free diet keeps you out of the bathroom, if it were me, I would not opt for anymore tests. Stick to the diet and be dilligent. You may have celiac...
  3. Does anyone have a rice-sausage stuffing recipe, please

    ARCHIVED Confused

Yes, most likely. Some many out grow an allergy, but an intolerance, never.
  5. Welcome Jennifer: You have just found the most wonderful support group. Many people on this site have been dealing with Celiac their whole life and many others are new to it such as yourself. Just about everything you will need to know can be found here. Questions are always welcome. My first suggestions for you is to read the posts on this site...
  6. I wish that I could be more helpful. Someone posted with the last 4 days or so, about traveling and wanted to get some dining card on line for free. Someone posted a link. I will bump this up, and with hopes the poster will post again with that helpful information. Hope it works PS: You may want to do a search here for dining cards...
  7. You must read the ingredients and they most always list wheat, that I have found. Although, we live in a small town with two grocery stores. Tyson's makes a rotisserie whole chicken, that is found in the meat section and I believe it to be gluten free. It is very good when you are in a rush.
  8. Panera Bread has a gluten free menu on line. I have eated there several times. check it out
  9. How about a Chicken and Rice Casserole (that can be made ahead of time), with a nice salad, garlic bread (for the others). Ice Cream with chocolate sauce, with sprinkles. Steaks, BPotato, salad Chilli with gluten free cornbread Chicken salad on lettuce leaf, marinated pea salad, fruit salad
  10. Laura, keep those special people close.
  11. Have your ever wonder how to give back to this forum that was created by Scott Adams? A Forum that has helped and aided so many of us in the road to recovery. I have an idea. How about all of these great recipes compiled in a book that Scott can market TO SUPPORT THIS FORUM? What a wonderful way to give back to someone who has created a soft spot...
  12. I think he is on Sabbatical. Steve will be back, when he is ready.
  13. Nestle: Will list all gluten, but most are free. But they encourage all to read the lables.
  14. Monica: Bev said some really good things. If you don't want to be sick, you have to make some changes. I would also like to add, that you can make your son lunch that is not gluten free, but wash your hands well and all the utensils that you use. That would make a big advancement in a gluten free environment for you. You should also check your...
  15. When my oldest was about 2-3 years old, her "t's" were "f's".....as in a tree, became "look at the free". I guess you know where I'm going with this. We were in the grocery store, and the little boy in front of us in line was holding a fire truck. She said loadly.." Look momma, *uck." One more.. My youngest was holding alot of dolls...
  16. Dianna: You have come along way baby! It appears that you life is together and excited about a new career. I am happy for you. We all have mishaps from time to time. It truely can be expected, in the world that we live in and expect to function in a normal manner. I do hope that you feel better soon. Lisa

Not a problem if you use them in the conventional way.
  18. Mal: 1. Not familiar with the tatooing process, but I believe others here have had tatoos. 2. Use the tampon of your choice - a non gluten issue. 3. Whey is dairy based, also a non gluten issue. If you have a dairy problem, yes, and issue.
  19. If anyone has opted to receive personal messages, please check to see if their mail box is full. Any new message cannot be received, if a mail box is full. I forget also

Kiki: Every one reacts differently. So you won't get one answer. Gluten is every where and to me, it's almost impossible to not get glutened as best you try. As careful as I am. I work in a gift store, gourmet store for fun. We have designer beer, scone mix and lots of gluten stuff. I ring it up, I lick my fingers to get out the pretty...
  21. Enjoy
  22. I think that it should be ok. Sodium (salt). I would eat it, as it did not list wheat. And I am not familiar with the brand. I would feel better if someone else would click in.
  23. Every day is a new beginning. Let me lay low from here. Maybe Steve will come out. After all, the post was about where he was.
  24. Glucose is sugar. Some have a dairy sensitivity if they are new to the diet. Or some may react to the dairy itself. Many suggest that you stop dairy while you are healing and gradually re-introduce it after you have been feeling better for a period of time. I still have a problem with McD's Vanilla Milkshake, which is gluten free. I can handle...
  25. Debbie: You have been dealing with this all you life. You may have some questions. But, also, you have 41 years of knowledge. Someone out there needs the answers that you can share. Please jump in here and join us again. You most likely, have more information in your little finger, than most of us can learn. I for one, would welcome your...
