  1. Sometimes you have to do what you do, and sometimes you need to follow your gut instincts. I have one just graduated in the 7 year plan , with adhd issues, (due to class exemtions with dx) and one still going. If you have a student that follows your heart, please follow through. You will never regret it.
  2. I have been gluten free (or course as the best of my ability). I have always been plagued with this strange event. When eating at home, and always gluten free, I sometimes break out into a sweat on my face and travels down on my body. It happens sooo often and don't know why. Also, when I eat out. It is not a menopausal deal, as I started Peri-m in...
  3. Try Prilosec OTC, on the in the morning and one in the eve. It may take about a week, but it is gluten-free and might help the bloating. I too have major bloating issues, and also use gax-X (green box). I hope this will help.
  4. Carla: I am not anemic, as recent blood tests indicated. My thyroid is low, but still with in range of normal. I do think that something else is cooking. My WBC is 2.62 (range 3.5-11.0l). RBC is 3.87 (range 3.80-5.20). Something is fighting, something.
  5. KAREN, shut up
  6. Rogain..I think once you start it you have to take it forever and not a temporary fix. I do find it interesting that this started when I went off Lexipro. Maybe, I'm eating too many worms lately. I don't feel stressed, but I know that you can be, which stresses your body and you emotions don't reflect. Just a thought
  7. Patti: Hi, and also looking forward to your new do. (or doo?) I also have a question for everyone. The past two months my, thin hair is REALLY thinning. I use dove shampoo and conditioner and have been gluten free for over a year (or nothing intentional). I take b-12,folic acid and multi vit. Has anyone has similar experiences, and if so...
  8. Is this still active to how we met out spouses, ok, probly so......... As my girls tell the story: I met my husband, while he was hosing down his Pitts. Dropped out of college and joined the Circus and worked as a hooker on Sundays during the summer. Sound interesting? Real version: I met my husband when he was washing down his "Pitts...
  9. When I have a business/lunch meeting, I stop by McD's and pick up the apple/yogurt dip and pitch the walnuts., and a drink. Lunch out today was funny. New place my daughter and her friend went to. I ordered a salad with no bread what so ever, on my plate!!! When she delivered it, "here you go, totally no carb meal". My daughter, said "close, but...
  10. I know that they were good going down, (as I remember), but very sorry that you are not feeling well.
  11. Robina: I admire you willingness to help put the word out there. Here is just a thought. I get a daily paper from Virginia (I live in North Carolina), and every day there is a health g&a from a doctor. I know that it is a national "filler piece", but that may work. I have often considered writing, and I may do so in the near future, with...

  16. No, no help from me. But it comes to reason that perhaps the mother should be helpful her. Perhaps a diologue with the Mother could be a good source. When I travel, I have gotten used to a crisp banana, with a scoop of Jiffy Peanutbutter. with tatter totts.(for the young one, fruit, protien, starch) A mega meeger two cents.

  20. I just wanted to add that there are several companies that will continuously list, wheat, barley, rye, oats, malt. One of those coming to mind is Kraft........as they will always list the above listed, if added. For instance, if a Kraft product contains wheat, it will say a very long word that does not look like wheat, but it will put in (wheat). They...
