    I call the soap/laundry/detergent aisle the "stinky" aisle. I refer to perfume as "smelly". I've tried some of these recipes below, and they work well.     Patti - You have to try the soft chewy breadsticks. They are very much like Carriefaith's (if not the same) and they are amazing. I did try the blueberry cobbler (can't remember the name of the recipe for the topping part - sweet biscuits?) and it was good at the edges, but not quite cooked in the centre. Next time I'll make smaller gobs of dough or bake...

    The first thing I thought was: No it doesn't! Sugar comes from sugar beets. Same result...different plants. All sugar beets in Canada are grown in southern Alberta. It's too cold here to grow sugar cane.

    Ursula here's a (((HUG))). Do you still have plans to leave? Have you given any more thought to that? I'm so sorry about your family. Surely they must see how you suffer if you eat gluten or other foods you are intolerant to. I wish that I could help, but with so many bad examples of other celiacs close to them, I guess they just don't want to get it...

    Banana Bread. Ty eats some everyday at school. Gramma says the Sugar Cookies taste just the same as the ones made with all-purpose flour.

    I ran out of time, so ended up baking half right away and chilling the rest of the dough and baking the rest later. I couldn't tell the difference. They were delish! I ate six right away .
